Braeden Davis will go at 141 today.

Not sure where RU gets a win today, but maybe that is wrong. Have to watch BTN to find out.

Larkin will be #1 but good luck stopping PJ Duke.

Let's not get carried away.  Watters had no business being number one and Zerban is coming back from injury and didn't look himself.  Larkin is good but he's not there right now.

Duke is fierce, fluid, and full of confidence and sound technique.  He wrestles far above his true freshman status.  He may eventually be challenged by a heady scrambler, but I don't see anyone in sight who is clearly better than him at the weight

I think we agree.

Glad I’m not the only one who questioned Watters’ ranking.

I’d have put Robideaux above him. Cannon, too.

So Rutgers only wrestled half of their starters?

Could you tell which half were starters?

Well I had to go to wrestlestat to make sure lol.   Some of the guys that wrestled were true freshman so I suppose it’s possible they may be better but redshirting, but 4 of the 5 guys that sat were previous NQ’s so I think it was Duck season.

I think I watched Duke attempt footsweeps with both feet inside one seamless move. Gotta watch that again.

Not both feet, but both directions with same foot. Sweep came first, but swing and a miss. Transition to a trip the other way. Guy has great balance.

I feel like we are due for a really high level footsweep enthusiast, hoping this stays a thing

I would love to watch Duke v Kasak.  The two best at the weight in the same room

The young man enjoys some judo, that’s for sure.

If anything, his offense seems significantly more varied since he arrived at Penn State. His ankle picks are getting better by the day.

Considering he has a loss at 149 this year, and a tech at that, I am doubtful he gets moved up to #1. On Baschamania the other day Willie said he would not put Larkin #1 at 157 yet.

It is interesting watching Penn State guys getting reversed or taken down, they just go about their business and pin their opponent, like it was manifest destiny.  They are not afraid to give up points.

I almost cover my eyes when Mirasola wrestles.  He could have easily been taken down several times during his match.  He wrestles like a scrambler, which isn't going to work against quality heavyweights that outweigh him by 20-50 lbs.
