What site has Vega ranked ahead of Mendez?  Seems stupid to me

love the site but their rankings are often....interesting

couple of minor ranking updates.  Cornella and Tyus moved up.  Flo and Intermat want to see more action from Garrett Thompson than one single match before they rank him (perhaps rightfully so, but I will continue to list him)

With Kaleb Larkin seemingly moving up, will he be included as undefeated at 157? With the asterisk of losing at 149?

I don't think so since those 149 matches will still be on his official record

Good question.  I tend to agree with Owen.  Of course I have changed my mind before.  As for now, I think I would combine his records.  But for nationals (which is a different topic) I think only his record in the weight class entered is considered (though this may have changed...

That was why I asked because at Nationals they only consider the matches at that weight, but also all official matches do count on the record. I think having the combined record makes sense

Jacob Moran, Vince Cornella, and Ty Watters go down.  Crookham, Stanich, and Cassidy are added.

Of course I think it. If I were ranking them he'd be top 5-7 in the next ranking, but I don't care that much about protocols and just go by what I see.

Where would you put Crookham, Stanich and Shapiro at their weights?

Did not want to make this its own topic but Drake Ayala is 4-4 and has 8 matches left. Of those 8 matches he has potentially Davino, Forrest, Van Dee, Blaze to wrestle. As of right now he is probably only a favorite against Van Dee and I could see him dropping that match. He could go into conferences at 8-8 and then go into a field where he has already lost to 4-5 guys in it.

I'll try to do this as seriously and honestly as I can.

133

1. Byrd because defending champ

2. Blaze even though I honestly think he is the best guy

3. Jax

4. Crookham assuming 100% healthy

5. Davino

141

1. Mendez  2. Vega  3. Stanich  4. Hardy  5. Ech

157

1. PJ Duke

2. Meyer Shapiro

3. Landon Robideau

4. Brandon Cannon

5. Antrell I guess, but looking hard at Kaleb Larkin. The only reason he is not top 5 for me as the recency of the weight change. Want to see a few more results.

These are just eyeball tests. I order them mainly by my perception of their talent and secondarily on results.

Hard to argue against this.

Wrestlestat rankings and records updated.  And a removal of Jaxson Smith who has been removed as designated starter for Maryland.  Injury maybe?  Not sure.  Could be a quirk of WS.
