The subsidies were.   And without them the insurance costs go way up higher than they already have.   Obamacare is the quintessential example of government making things worse for everyone.    When you have to pass the bill to see what's in the bill, that is a recipe for disaster, and Obamacare fits that bill.

and yet you expect people to be able to remove it

Any law can be repealed... trump and the republicans have been campaigning on repealing the aca for 16 years now yet crickets whenever they have office because they literally can not come up with anything better than the aca

conservatives harp on the aca "making things worse for everyone" while the gop flat out refuses to even put out the concepts of what a gop healthcare plan would look like

Both of these are valid I think.   The Rs have not provided a better scheme.   But should they or should they just repeal it and let the marketplace do the work of figuring out the best way.

With Obamacare, each plan has to have everything.   There is no plan for just catastrophic which would be cheaper for the normal Joe.  There is no plan for eliminating certain coverages.   The fact that the O care must cover all these things, that's what raises the costs.

Without Obamacare, insurance and people can craft the plan that works for them.  This should reduce costs.

lol

one must affirm they are a citizen

to vote as a non citizen is risking a felony

lol

with all the fraud, the government in minnesota thinks checking a box yes or no is going to keep people from voting

Well it's just an accident,  you see.  One hand does the billing and another hand does the reimbursements, so you see,  it's just an accident that we're taking in money with both hands.
