As are you.  It’s not my fault you didn’t understand why I was waiting for him to say Walz was guilty.

Except you already said Walz was guilty lol, you can’t keep track of your own arguments.  That was based on a partisan letter backed up by zero evidence, from a guy who has a history of writing partisan letters backed up by zero evidence and then never actually following up on his claims.

But sure, Walz probably was “aware” of some of the fraud…considering his office tried to stop it.  Remember when you thought Jim Jordan “owned” him in that clip where it was actually Jordan that was wrong?  That was referencing a time when Walz’s office tried to stop the payments to Feeding our Future.

So you think Walz should go to jail because of a claim he was aware of fraud and allegedly did nothing.  Do you think Rick Scott was aware of the fraud at his company and if so do you think he should have went to jail?  Please don’t answer with a question.

I know.  You were implying you don’t think Walz is guilty, so you wanted him to bring him up.  Except in a different thread you said you thought Walz was guilty.  lol.

As I said earlier…being a CEO of a company that actually commits the fraud is different from being a governor where fraud is committed by people living in the state.

But what are you saying?  Walz is guilty but Scott is not?  Lol.

Being the ceo of a company that commits fraud is no different than being the governor of a state that commits fraud.  Fraud was committed under the lead ship of both.  Either could have known about it or didn’t know at all about it.  🤦‍♂️

I worked for a very large corporate company.  If someone committed fraud someplace in the company chances are very good she wouldn’t have known it was happening until someone else found out and told her.

But you’ve already stated Walz should go to jail, so clearly you think he knew about it and did nothing.  Which of course is a lie as his office tried to stop it.

Meanwhile, you’ve continually defended Scott even though his company was convicted and he resigned (which of course Walz hasn’t done).   And it wasn’t just “someone committing fraud someplace in the company,” it was the largest healthcare fraud settlement in history at the time.

So you’re saying the fraud in Minnesota was committed by state employees?

I’ve never defended Scott. I’ve said nothing more than he wasn’t charged nor did he pay anything personally.  You’re lying.

So you’re saying the fraud in Minnesota was committed by state employees?

Based on recent reports, investigations indicate that Minnesota state employees in the Department of Human Services (DHS) mismanaged funds, fabricated documents to hide actions during audits, and ignored warnings about massive fraud in programs like Feeding Our Future
. While external, complex fraud rings primarily stole the money, state workers are accused of enabling it through negligence, failure to act, and, in some cases, collusion.

Key findings regarding state employee involvement:
  • Fabrication of Records: A legislative audit found staff in the Behavioral Health Administration (a division of DHS) backdated and created new documents to conceal mismanagement of state money.
  • Negligence and Mismanagement: State employees are accused of ignoring fraud warnings, with auditors noting that staff tasked with oversight were failing to detect fraud.
  • Conflicts of Interest:Reports indicate that a manager who approved a large, fraudulent payment to a provider later became a paid consultant for that same company.
  • Whistleblower Retaliation: Over 400 government workers claimed they warned leadership and Gov. Tim Walz of the fraud but were met with retaliation, threats, and a failure to act.

While the Feeding Our Future scheme involved external fraudsters stealing hundreds of millions, the scandal highlighted a breakdown in oversight within state government, causing many to claim the state was complicit in the massive fraud
