Luke Lilledahl Loses

[Jimmy Cinnabon]

He just lost to an unranked freshman at the Black Knight Invitational....unreal!

[BruceyB]

Wow. I figured it was an inj. default or MFF since Jimmy posted it, but Lilledahl goes down to Nate Desmond. Teammate factor or not, that is definitely a surprise to me.

The only controversy is in Jimmy’s head.

Desmond was the 17th ranked recruit in the nation last year.

Was he the short wrestler mentioned as "no slouch" in the Show Me the Money movie?

Does anyone know if that match has any implications on seeding come NCAA's? would be interesting if Bouzakis and Lilledahl were to split and their lone other losses are to their own teammates.

watched the match back Desmond did an unreal job of never letting luke get two hands going in the hand fight. He either had the inside collar or was tying up lukes fingers/grabbing lukes wrist if luke had the collar tie and demsond was over collar. Seemed like that really stifled a lot of Lukes offense.

Matches against teammates no longer count for seeding purposes thanks to Kevin Dresser and the Last Chance Open

Stickey Bun you and the folks at Iowa need to not focus on The PSU "Train" and be more concerned 11/30 could be your second loss in November...Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Forget no longer count for seeding purposes...they no longer even appear on the In-Season Record Form. They count just as much as the matches that they have in the room every day.
