Since Bob and Husker don't frequent these parts, I DMed them as that generates an email. I suggest you all do likewise.

Pretty sure for @BobDole you need to send snail mail to RR 3 Russell, KS  67665.

Was fast for a while now slow again.   At least my brain feels it’s super slow again.  Also ai is crazy lol

As of October 25, 2025, there is no evidence reported in publicly available sources that China is hacking the InterMatWrestle.com website
.
However, some users have reported unusual activity on the site's forums:
  • User concern: A user on the InterMat forum, posting under the username GreatWhiteNorth, stated that "It appears this site has been hacked" in a thread posted on October 24, 2025.
  • Unknown actor: This post does not provide any specific information to link the alleged incident to China.
  • Unverified: There are no details or official statements from InterMat available to verify the user's claims or the nature of the issue.

That's just good old fashioned 'scraping' - nothing AI about it.

The marketing departments for AI have got everybody worked up about too much. (Given that it's actually a lot.)

Google's AI is known to be not particularly good (even though their search services are incredible.)

What part of "old fashioned" did you miss on my last post?

It is being monitored.

Invested in CloudFlare. Excellent choice.

I would also highly recommend splitting up your hosting between your largest content consumers. Main web site should be on a single host, forums on a separate host. Same domain, users see no difference at all... but security is 2x stronger.

Weird serious question.  Do you think they manage this directly or just rent it out for a xyz free ?   I don’t think they Manage it at that level

What do I think? I don't pretend to know - but I do think Bob manages it directly.

And if it helps you, it's a whole heck of a lot more difficult to actually do than it is to jabber about it on a forum.

You seem to be over your head and might want to swim to shore.

Hear me out - everything on a shared GoDaddy server running PHP 5.6.. Only the best

I’m a big fan of Cloudflare - Porkbun for domains, Cloudflare for DNS, Cloudflare for workers, and then Digital Ocean droplets for hosting.

To clarify, it absolutely needs to be managed at that level.

I'll check tomorrow - but if it's being hosted on a shared GoDaddy server w/old PHP per Nick...  it is a dumpster.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
