Wow No penn state that’s super weak on them

I wanted to say the same thing, but 7 of their starters are wrestling at u23's and Nagao/Davis would have been a downgrade at 141, same with Mirasola at 285, so SVN is really the only guy that is sitting it out.

Not when you consider that seven of them plus their training partners will be returning from two weeks overseas three or four days prior.

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

SVN may be a training partner. Bartlett was Lee's and Lee was Retherford's, etc.

I thought probably Kasak at 157 and or SVN at 149

141: #1 Jesse Mendez, Ohio State vs #7 Anthony Echemendia

149: #3 Lachlan McNeil, Michigan vs #5 Casey Swiderski, Oklahoma State

165: #4 Hunter Garvin, Stanford vs #7 Max Brignola, Lehigh

174: #3 Simon Ruiz, Cornell vs #8 Lenny Pinto, Rutgers

184: #4 Jaxon Smith, Maryland vs #7 Zack Ryder, Oklahoma State

197: #3 Joey Novak, Wyoming vs #4 Stephen Little, Little Rock

285: #3 Yonger Bastida, Iowa State vs #4 Taye Ghadiali, Michigan

141: D2 Khyvon Grace, West Liberty vs D3 Mark Samuel, Roanoke

Just released by flo.

Not as many 1s and 2s as you'd like but that's a really strong lineup of matches. No PSU, Iowa, or Nebraska guys might hurt viewership, but these are worth tuning in for. The D3 champ vs the D2 runner-up is a cool addition. Ty Watters is WVU btw

Shouldn't they call this the Blood Round Classic instead of the All Star?   There really isn't a decent matchup and the over under is 50% of the field snagging an All-American this year.

You get Byrd and Mendez and then pair them with marginal competitors.

I'll take the over. There are 10 D1 matches, so 20 D1 competitors. Of the 19 who have completed at least one NCAA season, 17 have AA'd.

I would not be surprised if they are in Serbia too as training partners

There's clearly no distance Carl won't go to avoid competition.  😉

Most of Penn State's team will be in Serbia at U23's the week prior, so I can't see most of them participating - Davis and SVN are the only two realistic possibilities.

... as ebpsu mentioned above.

I'll be the first to say that I'm anti-nit (it's agin' th' law to have that much power and success as a team & individuals!!!)

BUT... they do have a good portion of their lineup ON that team...

(have a look-see!)

Men’s U23 freestyle

57 kg – Luke Lilledahl (St. Charles, Mo./Nittany Lion WC/Titan Mercury WC)

61 kg – Jax Forrest (Johnstown, Pa./Cowboy RTC/Titan Mercury WC)

65 kg – Marcus Blaze (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg WC/Titan Mercury WC)

70 kg – PJ Duke (Slate Hill, N.Y./KD Training Center)

74 kg – Mitchell Mesenbrink (Bellefonte, Pa./Nittany Lion WC/Titan Mercury WC)

79 kg – Levi Haines (Arendtsville, Pa./Nittany Lion WC/Titan Mercury WC)

86 kg – Rocco Welsh (Fredericktown, Pa./Nittany Lion WC/Titan Mercury WC)

92 kg – Josh Barr (Davison, Mich./Nittany Lion WC/Titan Mercury WC)

97 kg – Garavous Kouekabakilaho (San Diego, Calif./Viking WC)

125 kg – Daniel Herrera (Ames, Iowa/Cyclone RTC)

I mean... they're everywhere!

😏
