Honestly curious, can you share what you think are the best studies on this?

There are studies linked in this article and more in the articles linked at the bottom.

Even this is probably a drop in the bucket compared to increased diagnosis vigilance. Autism has always existed. The first diagnosis was in 1943, but that wasn't the first person in history to have autism. It's a relatively new diagnosis. Over time, the diagnosis criteria have changed and expanded as they've learned more and more about it.

Here's another way to look at it. Boys are 3x more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls. But it used to be 4x more likely. Is autism more prevalent in girls now than before? No. The diagnosis criteria have expanded as researches have learned more about how autism presents in girls.

There's no blood or genetic test for autism. It's a diagnosis based on behavior, which is inherently subjective, and there's a huge scale of severity. Today, a lot of people with extremely mild autism are getting diagnosed. A lot of what previously was understood as awkward or weird is now being labelled autism. One of my childhood friends just got diagnosed with Asperger's at 30 years old. He didn't just acquire it. He always had it. But it's been really helpful for him as he learns to navigate some of the social struggles he's always had.

The other negative affect of tying Tylenol to autism is all those out there that truly are ignorant or lacking intelligence (and there are a lot of people regardless of political leanings) that are going to refuse to give their children medicine when they have high fevers which can be severely damaging to brain development.

Same thing with vaccines. Measles is pretty bad for cognitive development!

If you're wondering why anybody would have a motive to ignore this well-documented correlation between older fathers and autism, consider this:

RFK Jr had 4 kids after the age of 40.

Trump had 3 after the age of 38. He was 60 when he had Barron.

How many of those were diagnosed autistic?

Barron may be. Either way, he's a weirdo. Trumps other kids are scumbags but not autistic.

Good to know your opinion on anyone, including autistic children, that isn't exactly like you is a weirdo or scumbag.

I just heard this on the radio.

https://www.instagram.com/p/DPB7Vd3jmP9/

Some lady  OD'd on Tylenol while pregnant and is now on a ventilator.   I can't see the instagram but I believe it is the lady that got a call from the husband.   Apparently, this lady took so much, she is in serious crisis and this lady on the instagram says she will die.   Why would people do this?   I suppose this is all not true but the video above says that there are people doing this.  Tylenol is bad for the liver and there are many warnings not to overuse it because of liver issues.   This is just plain stupid.

If Trump was to say heroin is bad for women to use while pregnant, will pregnant women go out and OD on heroin to prove him wrong?   Tylenol is known for bad outcomes if overused.   I just don't understand.

I heard this on the radio as well.   If Trump says breathing is good, will there be people saying he is wrong and they'll prove it?   Of course not.   Why is Tylenol any different?   Read the stinking warnings.

I am going to call bullshit.  No is intentionally ingesting more Tylenol to prove the orange one wrong.  Now yes it is bad for your liver and should watch your dosage.

Other than the people taking it while pregnant on video?

This is the item I heard on the radio.   She got the call at 4am, this is the one.

From the X item:

Pregnant liberal took so much Tylenol after hearing Donald Trump say it causes autism she’s now in the ICU and is going to die Executive Director of American Frontline Nurses got a “very frantic call at 4am from a husband whose wife is now dying of liver failure on a ventilator in an ICU, because she was trying to prove that Tylenol doesn't cause autism because of what Trump said” She’s going to die “Whether or not you believe the Harvard study or not is not, not the issue here. The issue is that she's somewhere between 23 to 25 weeks and she overdosed on Tylenol, and she's going to die”

I would hope this is a crank.   I would hope no one is that stupid.   But it is believable because of the overreaction to anything Trump does or says.

If these are true...wow...the movie Ideocracy may actually be coming true.

Didn’t see the movie, but I did hear that Trump endorsed breathing.
