Well I learned on this very forum that we can make large generalizations and use stereotypes to inform our opinion without the need for additional critical thinking or logic. Can you prove otherwise? Do you know for a fact that if someone likes watching late night with Colbert that they wouldn't switch to Kimmel instead when Colbert is no longer around?

Stereotypes are often accurate about groups.

Key context is ‘groups’ and ‘often.’

Always remember… Not ‘individuals.’  Not ‘always.’

There are likely more group truths that are different between the audiences to consider.  Say two years back research indicated Colbert’s group is intelligent and Kimmel’s group is more caveman, you can now use this fairly accurate group stereotype for predictions and decisions.

You don’t need to be overly concerned about some random contrarian Peter when considering the larger Colbert and Kimmel groups.  You don’t need to take months for more research.

A mental short cut is often better than paralysis.

Considering Erika Kirk and Megan Kelly had over 1 BILLION VIEWS on the first podcast post Charlie little Jimmy Blackface having 6 million Tune in isn’t such a big deal.

Its easy to be a non believer when you’re alive but it won’t be when you die.

People wanted to see what Kimmel had to say.  They wanted drama.

In 30 days... I will eat crow if Kimmel's ratings remain high.  Previously spoons on x.com were getting more views than Kimmel.

It's easy to make it look like ratings went WAY up when you are starting from the bottom

It's just a temporary bump. Once a few weeks go by the ratings will plummet into the abyss. "AGAIN"

Would 007 consider this guy political?

There’s “circumstantial evidence” that Anibal Hernandez Santana, 64, had “a political motive behind” the shooting, Sacramento county district attorney Thien Ho said. “There are some indications here that the motive behind the shooting of the ABC news station was political in kind,” Ho remarked.

Stereotypes are tropes seldom rooted in truth based on your own internal bias.
