Since the turn of the century, what was the most talented bracket at 125 pounds? I included the four years that I thought were the deepest in the poll, and the podium finishes for those years are shown below. Feel free to tell me why I'm wrong and any brackets that should be considered tougher than my four nominees. Let the reminiscing commence.

2018, Lee's first title.  Went Lee, Suriano, Tomasello, Lizak, Cruz, Rivera, Dresser, and Moisey as your top 8, with Piccininni losing R12.

2010 also quite good as referenced above.

Crazy bracket. Crazy that Rivera is one of the 2 only wrestlers in that top 8 that never made it to the finals.

2018 Had three competitors who have been on multiple olympic & world teams, and two are medalists. From a folk perspective, it had four NCAA past/future champs. That's about as tough as it gets.

ETA: Cruz lost in the bronze match at the 2024 olympics. Could have been three olympic medalists.

I am not saying this makes "the best", but the 2002 bracket scored the most career NCAA points (571), followed closely by the 2006 bracket (570).

The 2002 vs 2006 bracket career points (some points could have been scored at other weights).

Sorry about the ugly pivot table, but it was the best I could do on short notice.

*All points normalized to today's scoring rules.

Oh, and there are almost certainly mistakes, so if you find any let me know.
