Actually I take that back on my comment.  I had a Mitsubishi in Hawaii that had 200k+ miles on it.   I thought it ran great but my wife hated it.   It was ugly.   Appearance over function.   So I had to get rid of it eventually.

My Prius has about 5k on it.

That's what I have.  It's my daily driver. My wife put most of the miles on it, then she bought another one and I took her old one. I also have a GMC with 95k and it's the biggest pos I've ever seen.  I also have a 4runner that has been a great vehicle.

I hope she makes it to 300,000!

I grew up thinking cars were only good for 100k miles. It never occurred to me that you could get anywhere near this much life out of 1. It runs great  and is as tight as the new one.

My first car was a Plymouth Horizons. It was such an awful car, but I put an Alpine stereo in it and a hyfonics amp and some 12" subs. I totaled it out at 45k.

I'm joking. I thought that would get a reaction from the wingers (eg some comment about how it's a libtard car, I must have low testosterone, etc) but I guess I was wrong.

My 2008 F150 has 130K...  bought in 2015 with 85K...

The last expedition had 220K...

The original subject was miles put on a car.  Just curious how many of these were new to total miles thus "put on" versus just highest mileage car?  My report was new to total.  I can come up with some bigger total mile vehicles.

Ahhhh, I see what you’re saying, and in review you are right. “Most miles put on a vehicle”.   I would never buy a brand new vehicle so don’t really have anything to contribute in that realm.  The car I referenced had 65k when I bought it. Which makes it easily the most miles I have ever put on a vehicle. (Well, shared….a couple of the kids toyed it around for awhile as they went through their initial driving days.)

My Prius had 45k on it. We typically buy 4 year lease returns. Car still averages 46 mpg.

If we are going with most miles ... I was out on the farm ~month ago for 2 weeks helping with harvest.  Four pickup trucks all with 250k to 450k miles, 3 purchased new one used, 3 f250 one a half ton, two gas and two diesel.  Now the semis 750 to 1M+ but all purchased with very high over the road milage.

Is that you rv?  😉

I actually have a Honda crv. Don't drive a ton though. Just mainly to my refereeing gigs. I bike to the office.
