Totally agree with you. But at the same time, it kinda makes sense that - for now at least - ICE is more focused on the southern border.

I mean, how likely is it that dangerous criminals or drug cartels are sneaking into the U.S. from the Middle East? Probably close to zero.

They can’t really cross the border illegally - those countries don’t border the U.S - and even when it was easier for folks from that region to come to the U.S. legally, most of them were either wealthy or highly educated - like grad students going to top U.S. universities.

Interesting perspective. But ICE isn't border patrol. ICE is more like the US secret police, or the Nazi SS. We've seen multiple versions from multiple countries over the years. They are above the law, don't document their actions, and answer to nobody.

The CBP with billions of dollars in funding is tasked with taking care of the southern border. Not just this year or last year, but for decades with budgets in the near $10 billion range.

(If anybody tried to tell you we had 'open borders' in the last 30 years, they are lying to you. We've been spending many billions the entire time. You're a sucker if you believe what you've been told.)

Wealthy types like the ones that come from Middle East oil money - get on a plane and fly in. No sneaking required.

Highly educated or not, they walk in.

Our current administration respects money far more than anything else.

(And, yes, you already knew all of this.)

What a complete bunch of BS.  Your TDS is breaking you.

Aaah so if the right said possibly Muslim that’s a dayum  crime.  But when cnn does it it’s an accident.   Got it.

In the recent case of people like Laura Loomer assuming the Michigan stabber was a Muslim, there are some key differences:

1) Loomer said “highly likely,” which is a lot more confident than “possibly.”

2)  Loomer followed her claims with statements like “deport them all” and “Muslim invaders have ruined our country.”

Oh and btw, Loomer did it again here!  Said the NYC shooter is “being  described by witnesses as a Middle Eastern man.”  Which is also more confident than “possibly.”  She even tried to somehow tie this to Zohran Mamdani and claim he supports people killing cops, even though the shooter was from Las Vegas.

Laura loomer is a crack pot Internet personality no one cares what she has to say.   Remember that.

It’s good that apparently even you have limits.  But she just helped get the top vaccine official at the FDA fired. And was previously an adviser to Trump. And doing a quick glance on average her x posts probably get more engagement than posts from CNN.

Meh.  Crack pots gonna crack.  No need to fret over them boss

also if you add up all the CNN followers on Twitter for all of their accounts with some slight rounding cnn has almost 100,000,000 followers.  Thad’s a lot of zeros

I didn’t say followers, I said engagement.  Engagement indicates that unfortunately, a lot of people do care what Laura Loomer has to say.

In a direct comparison of social media engagement,
CNN generally has a significantly larger audience and overall reach compared to Laura Loomer, a far-right political activist.
Here's why:
  • CNN is a major news organization with a vast global audience and a large presence across various platforms (broadcast, online, social media).
  • Laura Loomer is a right-wing influencer known for her controversial views and is mainly active on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Rumble. While she has a substantial following (1.7 million followers on X as of July 8, 2025), this is significantly smaller than the potential reach of a global news organization like CNN.
  • CNN reaches millions of viewers through its television channels and digital platforms.  In 2021, CNN Digital had an average of 144 million unique visitors in the US, making it the most viewed digital news outlet, according to Comscore.

It is interesting how this thread got turned into something about Trump and immigration, and now Laura Loomer...I personally found it extremely interesting watching RV turn himself inside out and fumble across his posts over and over on a subject he considers "no big deal"

I googled her.  As I don’t know who she is.   That is correct.  If it isn’t obvious.   The posts I made above are copy paste from the output from … well the Google.

Ahhhhh. From that little bit of information after supposedly not knowing her at all, you have developed such a strong stance about her.   Convenient.

It’s all about the Google boss.  I couldn’t pick her out of a police lineup if you gave me a million bucks

So we’re back to we shouldn’t trust little things we hear in the media.  Well except for when we should.  Man, things sure are convenient.

You know they have nothing to say when they have to revert back to “TDS”.  The fail safe 😂

You act like I had no come back  for ICE being America's SS. It's a total crackpot statement and is more or less self evident to normal thinking people as a deranged statement.  I'm guessing from your position on my comment on his comment you subscribe to the same obviously idiotic belief that we have a unaccountable secret organization terrorizing helpless innocent people for some nefarious political purposes.  And still somehow you consider referring to this phenomena as TDS as a win for your side. I guess in the context of someone displaying these thoughts it's a reasonable take.

No, I don't subscribe to the belief we have some unaccountable secret organization.......I just laugh at how easy and convenient it is to throw around "TDS" anytime someone doesn't like what is being said.   Kind of like throwing around racism at every possible turn even when it doesn't relate in any way, you throw it around enough and it loses all credibility and just looks silly.

Well from now on when you hear or read that phrase you can associate it with crackpot ideas that are obviously fake and  driven by liberal delusion and hate. Truth is it's a very real condition and easily observed right here on this forum.

Not saying it isn't a condition presented by some.......RV for example.  However, if the phrase were only used in such situations, it would be so much easier to only associate it that way.   But since it is used any time someone dare have a critique of......"Big T", I'll continue to associate it the way it actually relates, particularly here on this forum.

Your AI needs work.  Again, I said “engagement,” not reach.  I said this because of your comment about no one caring what she says.  Despite having about 40x less x followers than CNN, she probably has more engagement.

CNN’s posts rarely get over 1,000 likes.  Of their last 20 tweets, the only post to get 1,000 likes was one about the UK recognizing a Palestinian state (2K).

Loomer on the other hand has gotten over 1,000 likes on 16 of her last 20 posts, with as high as 32,000.

So yeah, I guess I need to take out the “probably,” she gets more engagement than CNN on x.  Maybe that’s because most CNN watchers are 75+ years old and don’t use a computer or smart phone, but if that’s the case then there was no harm in them saying “possibly white” when it was corrected shortly after.  The problem with people like Loomer speculating about every attacker being a Muslim is that others on social media then run with it also.

Thats exactly what someone with TDS would say. 😁

Thanks for confirming her tweets get far more likes than CNN’s.

No recent one has 40 btw.  She just made one 10 minutes ago that already has over 250, so maybe you saw it when she first posted it.  She has one from only 20 minutes ago with over 1,000 already.  Again, CNN rarely tops 1,000 at all.
