My real name isn't El Luchador, and you don't know what you don't know. I follow a guy who covers church security and confers with federal agents on current risk factors. He covers these attacks and analyzes responses.  Most of what he covers never makes national news. So I stand by my statement.

WHAT! By god... you're name isn't The Luchador? And here I've been...using the name on my Birth Certificate!

You "follow" a guy who covers Church Security? So it's a "trust me bro," type situation? Not the FBI or anything of that nature...a guy who does security for Churches whilst also finding the time to tell us how necessary his job is.

It's amazing what the media "doesn't cover." In fact, I know a guy on this very forum who started a 2nd thread on one subject. He later in the thread proclaimed he started it because "nobody in the media was talking about it."

When I asked WHY he started that second thread a month later his response was, "there are about 20 articles about it, the Media just picked it up." I always find "the media won't talk about it," comment amusing.

So it's not that "the media" doesn't cover this significant issues like Church Shootings...in know Dylan Roof's name well. It's that they cover them in accordance with the Daily News. There isn't some big conspiracy to undermine the downtrodden White Christians and ignore their horrible plight in this Country where they're treated so unfairly... it's the fact that there are mass shooting DAILY.

But here you are... with the opportunity to enlighten us about these attacks. Maybe bring some awareness to these attacks the liberal media doesn't want you to know about and...nothing.

You can't be talking about the shooting at the "Abundant Light Christian School." No, we all heard about that. Can't be talking about Joel Osteen(Olsteen...eh, don't know, don't care) church, right? That was National News. This story...we're talking about it for a reason.

There are several smaller stories about some isolated event, but no attacks ON Churches. Some on different temples or places of Worship, but, ignored by the media?

So you could do us all a great service and let us know about these attacks...being as you follow someone who tells you about them and educate us.

The alternative, 'trust me bro' theory is...a bit less effective.

You babbled on a lot to create that Strawman. You laid quite a foundation of misinformation to get those conclusions.  Nice job.

Because Church leaders in Europe wanted a war to distract from domestic problems and discontent? Sounds pretty on point.

Yeah, @Bigbrog RV is 100% accurate on this one.

If this was a Muslim, it'd absolutely be a MUCH bigger story. It'd start invariably by talking about how Democrats "probably" let him in and how they want open borders and then it'd.... just go from there.

Christianity hasn't caused millions of deaths?

😂😂😂😂

Apparently somebody never paid attention in history class. Ever. Before modern times, practically every war in Europe was fought because of religion. Probably the last significant battle fought in the West that wasn't because of two warring Christian kingdoms or factions was the Battle of Tours.

Also the Crusades, that was initiated and continued on for years because of Christianity.

Seriously some of you people are just willfully stupid.

Sure. JUST the Crusades caused "Millions" of deaths. Probably 2-3 Million, but that's Millions.

I don't like when people just count all the deaths from a "Christian" Nation.

That said... I don't see a difference between a Christian Fundamentalist or a Muslim Fundamentalist. They both take a book that's filled with beautiful things, pick and choose what part they like.

The Qa'ran says...without quoting it, 'anyone who kills an innocent soul unless it be in retribution for murder, shall be like they have killed all of humanity.

The SAME book then says...in part, Allah 'Nor take life—which Allah has made sacred—except for just cause.'

So now it's up to you to decide and how easy is it to find a "just cause."

The Bible is no different in this respect.

-Though shalt not kill. That's pretty simple. Ya don't kill.
EXCEPT for all the times you do...and it's the most violent book in History.

An example of when you do... but then it's acceptable to kill someone guilty of "Blasphemy." And that's a fun one because it was anything you wanted it to be for the majority of human history.

That said, there are QUITE a bit more Muslims RIGHT NOW who fall into the "extremist" of "fundamentalist" camp. In fact... it's the overwhelming Majority in the Middle East.

That said, at LEAST in the US we have Freedom of Religion and Freedom FROM Religion.

In MANY Muslim Countries...you have no such option. Christianity is just outright banned.

So... given the alternative, I'll definitely take the American way of doing things.

Kudos for the security guy taking the murderer out.   Saved a lot of lives.    This is what we should be discussing, not how Christian the murderer was.   He obviously was not much of a Christian if he was willing to murder indiscriminate people in a church.

That's as bad as me saying that somebody couldn't be "much of a muslim" if he murders people.

Just listen to yourself. It's unbelievable.

Lots of Christians feel plenty justified in murdering people they disagree with or don't like. Because God or something.

Take some time to learn something before you come to conclusions.

Great...

So this issue that is SOOO near and dear to your heart... You sent me to the "Christian Warrior," and what's the video that's playing about? A Carjacking in the Parking Lot.

Is THAT what you're calling an "attack on the Church?"

Why would you expect the National Media to cover a carjacking in a parking lot?

This is the United States. We have over 100,000 shootings PER YEAR in the United States...without counting Suicides or Murders. Just non-fatal shootings.

This is not an "attack" on the Church.

But you beleive there are all these "attacks on the Church," and the media doesn't want to tell you that...because you watch some fringe site that tells you that.

And I asked you for some examples and you just say...'watch this guy.'

The problem is, you can say that about any Muslim(and this would be a MUCH-MUCH bigger story if he were a Muslim) or Christian.

And then you can turn around and use thier own books to justify why they're REALLY good Christians and Muslims.

It's...Religous fantacism that's the problem. There's NOTHING in all of Human History that comes CLOSE to causing as much death and destruction.

And if you're saying they're not really Christians... well then how many Muslims reside in Saudi Arabia? About 10?

He literally has dozens of videos and you cherry picked a video you can most easily manipulate into meeting your agenda.  You are intellectually dishonest.

"Cherry picked?" It's literally the pinned video. The ONE video atop his page that was playing when I clicked on it. If that's "cherry" picking to you...well, I don't think you know what that phrase means.

To be clear though, this is an issue VERY close to your heart. It's so very important you can't go to Church without your Gun. The FBI is wrong on the number of "attacks on Churches," but you're right because you listen to this guy.

But rather than...share them with me, you give me a homework assignment to listen to the "Christian Warriors" entire YouTube catalogue.

Ok, I'm done. If you don't care enough about it to give me examples of "daily attacks on churches the media won't talk about," then...I sure as hell don't.

I'll defer to the FBI on these numbers.

Quote

In the past year, there have been three fatal shootings at church services or parking lots (FL, MI, WI) resulting in at least 4 deaths and 8+ injuries, plus one non-fatal service-time shooting in Houston.

This before yesterday...and... is the media covering this or...no?
