One of the Boulder victims is reportedly a Holocaust survivor.   Reportedly the perp is an illegal alien from Egypt.   Reportedly the perp also had a homemade flame thrower as well as molotov cocktails.   Reportedly, he said he planned this for a year and would do it again if given the chance.

And he isn’t eligible for the death penalty.  At least I don’t think he is.  Max sentence I read is life.

He didn't kill anyone that I know of.   If one of them dies from their injuries, that story may be different.

Yeah, they generally reserve the death penalty for when people are killed.

It definitely would and... with the "hate crime" aspect, he'd definitely be looking at the death penalty.

And I hope he doesn't get it, but if someone succumbs from their injuries...let him have it. Even if someone lives with their injuries for the next decade and they die as a result of this, they can still charge him for capital murder(and they should).

He said he would do it again given the chance.   He won’t be getting out of prison.  His family got arrested.  I’ll bet they helped.   Toss them in jail too.

Yeah, this is things that happen in a 3rd World Country.

We don't "toss" people in Jail because we "bet" they had knowledge of someone else's crimes. The wife gave her phone and they were not "arrested," they were detained by ice.

What type of nonsense is this? LITERALLY punishing the Sons(and daughters) for the Sins of the father based on a wild guess?

Why would you bet they helped?  Doesn’t seem like this was planned all that well.

I bet they helped.  That’s why they were arrested.  I have no other knowledge other than the betting part.

"We are investigating to what extent his family knew about this heinous attack, if they had knowledge of it, or if they provided support to it," Noem said. "I am continuing to pray for the victims of this attack and their families. Justice will be served."

A DHS official said six people — Soliman's wife and children — were taken into ICE custody and will now be processed under expedited removal, which allows the government to deport migrants in the U.S. illegally without holding a court hearing.

THEY-WERE-NOT-ARRESTED.

No matter how many times you say it, it's not true. I already clarified this. Being detained by ICE is NOT being "arrested."

His oldest child, a Daughter just graduated from HS. And you're "betting" they were in on this because you don't understand the distinction between arrested and detained.

I have no issue with questioning them, or even deporting them (they were still legal until we revoked their visas), but it’s a pretty big leap to assume they helped.

Especially when they're children. I BELIEVE they range from 6 to 18(not certain on that though).

The wife has also complied with the investigation and showed the authorities the last text messages she sent him.

Seems strange to "bet" the wife and children were involved....

They will be fine in Egypt…. I’m sure it’s where they are going if they were detained by ice.  I hear the weather is grand this time of year.

If he’s radical …. They are statistically more likely to be radical.  People bet on everything.   I just bet they helped is all.  You can bet they didn’t.   It really doesn’t matter.   They will either be charged or deported.   One or the other.    This will all be forgotten after a short news cycle and we will move on to the next outrage.

Did they “help” him overfill the bottles so he would set himself on fire?

It’s what an investigation uncovers.   Sort of how they work.   You can wait for details or place bets like I did.  I may lose my bet.   Who knows.

I just don’t see what evidence there is that the family, in particular the daughter that just graduated high school, would have helped.  Apparently the dude said he wanted to see her graduate before he did it.  If she helped she had to know she was going down too.  Can’t think of any terrorists that would say “well let me finish high school first before I go commit a terror attack”

are you here illegally?

According to Fox News, they weren’t.  Until we revoked their visas after the attack.
