Absolute comedy gold. Delusion mixed with crashing out but only in a way Chael can do it.

The Bad Guy referenced this website in his appearance.

After making a 69 reference the Flo guys laugh and Sonnen says "We're giggling over 69?  Okay, he said 69!! What is this Intermat?  You guys can't take a joke?"

Spey: "Nice"

Sonnen: " Remember when they were a thing. Do you remember that? It was like intermat wrestle backslash wrestling .org and something would come up."

Sonnen then continues some story about the 1969 World team.

I've found Chael really hard to listen to in the past but he has grown on me and this episode in particular was something special. I can't believe he went on for as long as he did about Sasso, only to follow it up by encouraging (sorta) young kids to take steroids

Overall - quite entertaining.

The Sasso part seems quite risky.  Seems like there is a potential libel / slander (which one) risk.  @VakAttack - I’m guessing I’m wrong, but can you confirm?

I'd have to relisten to that firehose, but I believe he did it in the form of a question, so he's probably fine.

"You are a voice of reason." - @Paul158

""David Taylor has a stupid face." - Cael Sanderson (probably)" - @VakAttack

The Sasso clip that is going around is hilarious

Flo took down the live and reposted the episode sans Sasso discussion. Where's the clip?

Sounds like Iowa is beating the tar out of their team this summer, with very few of them actually competing.

Also, very weird that he thinks several Iowa guys are U20 champs (well, beyond Pan Ams).

Whom are you disputing?  I'm sure he was wrong at least once, but they do have a couple,I think.

It's ok that PSU guys are going hard all summer, but not Iowa?

He asked Pyles something along the lines of was Sasso buying drugs when he was shot?  Pyles said no.  Sonnen said that he now knew what his face like when he is lying.  It was something like that.  I tried to go back and rewatch but someone said flo edited that part out.

I see no reason why he even mentioned Sammy which is the strange part.

He's a tells it like it is kinda guy so he likes throwing stuff in there like that. I've heard multiple people say the same thing, but don't have any real connections to it and have no idea if it was true. Idk why it wouldn't come up in the court precedings.

Kinda reminds me of this awesome tribute ESPN did on AJ Mcarron and his father when he was at Bama. How him and his dad almost died in a tragic jetski incident when it went haywire. According to many people who were friends of them, they failed to mention that the dad was blackout drunk with his kid on the back driving the jetski around like a dumbass endangering everyone. But that doesn't tell the feel good story. Lol.

Multiple people say that we’ve never landed on the moon.

PSU guys are having fun while Iowa guys are not.

Judges typically don't allow arguments to be brought in court without any evidence.

Or at the very least you’d think Sammy himself wouldn’t have made a statement at the sentencing or whatever.  Plus the cops when Snyder got arrested with his pants down asked if he knew Sammy Sasso, which seemed to be referring to Sammy in a positive way.  I kind of think those allegations are made up nonsense.

this is sarcasm, right?

Absolutely not. Accusing a PSU wrestler of not having fun is cause for ejection from the park. It's right above "line jumping" on the sign.

Off the top of my head, Penn State/NLWC has people on the senior national team at 57kg, 61kg, 70kg, 74kg, 79kg, 86kg, 92kg and 97kg. 8 of 10 weights, with a chance to make it 9 of 10 if Blaze wins true 3rd at 65kg.

There is also a good chance they have the U20 reps at 61kg, 70kg, 92kg and 125kg. LL is still U20 but focused on Seniors and likely U23s; I don't believe he's registered at 57kg for U20s. If PSU athletes choose to accept them, they have locked in the slots as U23 Worlds reps at 57kg, 61/65kg, 70kg, 74kg, 79kg, 92kg. They have Rocco Welsh going at 86kg at U23s, as well.

So, to answer your question, yeah, PSU has a reason to be training hard this summer.

Lost in the "Cael is killing the sport" theme in the National Duals thread is the fact that a large percentage of the PSU lineup will be competing at U20, U23 or even Senior Worlds this fall, and will need to recover from those events.
