It doesn't matter who did this or when this was done.   It needs to be investigated and prosecuted as the law dictates.  This is one of those things where 1st amendment does not apply.

Precisely what do you base that statement on?

You should look it up.  It means different things.  The mafia and the military use it differently.  🤦‍♂️

But those aren’t the most common meanings.  Even the link you provided says so.

So nothing criminal then huh?

Correct.

So why did he delete it then?   Nothing to worry about

People delete tweets all the time. Just because some people interpret it that day doesn’t mean that’s what he was saying.

Apparently you are not smart enough to realize that Comey was calling for an assassination.  Obviously you are aware because you are trying to divert the topic, you, UB, Saylor etc.

lol you’re joking right?  First of all you don’t know what he meant.  Second of all how am I diverting the topic when the only thing not directly on topic that I did was bring up someone (who is now criticizing Comey) saying literally the exact same thing about the previous president.  Meanwhile, there are other posters bringing up Kathy Griffin and comments from almost 10 years ago yet oddly you didn’t call them out for “diverting the topic,” weird.

I posted the definition. You just too dumb to read the entire thing?

Here’s what you said at first:

It means to get rid of

Which says:

The Merriam-Webster dictionary, which the Associated Press follows, defines "86" as a slang term meaning "to throw out," "to get rid of" or "to refuse service to."

So yeah, thanks for proving yourself wrong.

Funny how you guys are all triggered about someone writing 4 numbers, lol.

Obviously I knew it was a joke.  But your post made it seem like you actually thought Arby’s tweeted that.  (Actually no one even tweeted it).

Well, you see, we live in a constitutional republic, so when we refer to getting rid of an elected official, it doesn't mean murder.  The amount of stretching you all are doing on this topic is hilarious.

I have seen house of cards twice….. so I’m kind of an expert.

is this the same stretching of words as when musk did a Nazi salute.   Or different?

Trying to change the subject AGAIN I see.  to 86 something has a meaning, and it isn't murder.  Sorry.

It’s called a comparison. Y’all tried to turn Elon into a Nazi…..

This is the wapo.   They’re a right wing rag right??

Used as a verb, “86” originated in hospitality, meaning to refuse service to a customer or that a menu item was not available, and its use expanded over time to broadly refer to rejecting, dismissing or removing, according to its dictionary definition. It can also refer to killing something or someone.

do you think Comey meant to not serve the d good good food?

Lol exactly.   If the first meaning for “get rid of” someone thinks of is murder, maybe that person should be on a watch list.

I don’t think any sane person actually thinks Musk is a Nazi.  But he did do something that looked an awfully lot like a Nazi salute (much closer than all other examples that were shared)

In the movies, bud guys don’t tell their henchmen to murder someone, they usually say “eliminate them,” “take them to the train station,” “deal with them,” “finish the job,” “shut them up for good…”

Cool, let me know if someone has ever been prosecuted for saying “take them to the train station”
