Looks like Cornell brought in a tough bunch for the same weekend visit...Carini, Kikiniou, Schwab, Youngblut, Bachmann, and Ross.  All top 50ish guys.

Home visits and campus visits starting to heat up now. Especially with FB season coming up. Interesting to see who verbals where. Iowa, Isu, and UNI have been busy per IAWrestle on Rokfin, as they have been pretty good about reporting and posting.

Bruno and Rocco Cassioppi, Dale Corbin, and Brody Sendele visited Wisconsin.

I believe Dale is originally from Wisconsin. The Cassioppi boys have always interested me because they are obviously very big but were light guys that are probably going to end up as pretty big guys which is generally a recipe for success.

Melvin Miller drops a new and interesting top group:

OSU

Ohio State

Nebraska

VT

Michigan

Penn State

Ohio state and VT were not on the initial list.

Also, Hokies will start visits here soon with three home football games in a row.

Because I want the dynasty to be pushed I am pulling for OSU however I would be very happy with ohio state/v-tech/Nebraska

yes brothers and yes both very good. Great 1/2 punch for recruiting for Mizzou if they can make it happen. Don’t normally see brothers not go together in a situation like this, so again seems imminent. Good for Mizzou!

Melvin Miller visiting NU and Bo as well, wonder what happens there. Bo’s list was 3 and millers is like 6 wonder if that means Bassett has 6 now 🤷‍♂️? Hoping to see things heat up soon.

Not sure if inside info or speculation but the flo gang seemed to think PSU and Oklahoma state were not as much in the picture for Bo I assume he and Melvin are a package deal so that leaves me to lean ohio state, Nebraska, V tech and all would be great with me.

Could see Ohio State, wonder if Rudis can help him? He’s a Rudis sponsored athlete and maybe that is a way around Deloitte? IDK, that’s just a legit ? But guess we shall see.

wonder where Miller projects? Of note all three have an Olympic shirt to use bc they are all world medalists. A team would really have to have a solid plan for all that, which is just an observation.

I know VT and Neb are on the short list for Bo. I'm not sure if anybody else is but Ohio State would make sense.

Mizzou-

you’d have to think that’s imminent.

I have my fingers crossed 🤞🏻, but I’ve learned to not get overly excited until signing day lol. But I’m hopeful. Hopeful we land a couple more of the top tier guys as well.

Mizzou-

I get it, I think with roster caps we see more pressure to get kids early, which leads to more drama later imo. And it’s not anyone’s fault it’s just kind of this shifting paradigm and it’s very new for programs. I think maybe some kids are harder to vet in this process. We shall see, but I’m guessing things heat up pretty good post S32.

I know this is a 2027 big board thread, but with Curtis’ commitment I’m hoping this is a good sign for the brother combo with Isreal.

Crapps was originally committed to Army, flipped to Mizzou and now at Army. But yes, seems like that could be the case. No inside info as to why he left, but I personally wish him well.

The word on the street is that college coaches were polled and they voted in a great majority to push back the first date of contact. right now it's June 15th of SO --> JR Year

what was proposed was a first contact date of Spring after JR season. (essentially 9 months later than it is now)

i, for one, think it would be a good move for both the athletes and college coaches.

I think that great reduces the chance of kids flipping

Interesting - would greatly shorten it but most athletes don't need that much time and it would allow coaches to have a better grasp of their roster in the transfer portal/roster cap era to know who/how many they are recruiting

There's already contact being made before June 15 under the table, and a lot of OV's are happening during September/October. Now we move evaluations back, the big schools still get who they want but the kid who was fringe big 10 now has to wait until the last second to decide on UT Chattanooga or whoever and those schools end up in a tough spot with very little time to know who they can take. Trickle down effect would hurt IMO.

The answer should be like any other sport and keep recruiting the kid after a kid commits to reduce de-commitments.

Pitt with a run of 2027 Commits in the last few days:

Caige Horak from Ohio, Hunter Snyder from PA, and Mason Horwat from PA.

Some other bigger-name recruits they have had on visits are Sidun, Rothermal, Music, and B. Brown. All four of these guys are ones I expect Pitt to be after heavily, and I would put them as slight favorites for Music and Brown (although Brown is in the same weight range as Horak/Snyder and Pitt already has Elijah Brown in 26

100% push it back.
