I'm more confused how Randleman has 17% of the votes, he had a loss and all regular decisions at NCAAs.  There's 4 undefeated guys this year.

I don't get it either.  24-1 with 4 falls.  Who did he lose to that year?

I also don't get the votes for the Iowa guys.  Neither were undefeated and neither won a Big Ten title either.

692 views and only 36 votes. Call me confused.

If we are being honest, it is most likely because viewers are hoping for at least a high-level breakdown of dominance stats + guys returning in the respective brackets rather than doing their own research. I may have statistically lived a few years over half my life but I was still wearing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tighty whiteys when this tourney was wrestled.

ETA: That is absolutely not saying anyone should provide those stats. I am only pointing out a potential reason (busy and/or lazy).

Yeah, those stats range between hard, and impossible, to come by.

.....I'm going with the HWT with a fall in the finals and Oostendorp and Rulan Gardner in the bracket

I thought about this too, but Terkay didn't wrestle them in the tournament.  The fall in the finals is impressive.

MMA. He's arguably the biggest name on this list.
