Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Strickenberger was 4-4 at 133 last season and none of the the losses were to 2025 NQ's. He did beat Fuggit, albeit Fuggit at the end of the year was a much different guy than the beginning. Will be interesting to see how 133 goes this year.

I think we'll see a much more true 133lber this go.

He started 125 then went 133 w/o the 'extra' 8lbs.  He'll have the extra 8lbs this time.

Edit: It could easily be argued that the end of season Strick was also a much different, better version as well - FWIW.  He had much better management of his weight, which is huge

Had forgotten about him.   He could be a contender at 141.

Yes, but he beat CJ Composto 8-2. CJ was 4th and will likely start the season ranked 3rd. So I think the Mendez thing may have been a matchup deal.

They could wrestle 100 times and Mendez is beating him 101 times.  There was zero doubt who was the better wrestler and a year doesn't change that.  For him to win, he needs to beat Mendez.

I do think he'll contend for AA, but that is about it.

Oh I agree with you 100%. That's what meant by a matchup thing. No way Stanich ever beats Mendez. But if Mendez took a loss to Hardy/Composto, and then Stanich had Hardy/Composto in the finals he could win it.
