You guys are hysterical.  Last year constant comments about Levi defying the laws of weight cutting by making 157 because he was so big.  Now this year it's "he's on steroids".

in fairness to me, I never said Haines was defying natural law by making 157, so you can't straw man me to death. 

In fairness to you, until the NCAA gets serious about this stuff the discussion is a bottomless pit so I shouldn't have gotten involved.

I'm sure the doctors are telling him that big weight cuts are a no no if he wants to fix his concussion issues as well.

I think they asked him if he plans on going 165, he said he can probably go 149, but he doesn't wanna cut a ton of weight, and some guys, well they may or may not do steroids to get to their weight. I don't think he's wrong.

Guys jumping two weight classes is not exactly unheard of.  In many cases, they were already making an incredibly hard cut down to the original weight, and have someone in the next weight up that they cannot beat.  So they continue to go up.  It seems reasonable someone who looks natural 165 but was wrestling 157 could appear a full sized 174 the next year.

so I'm not a dermatologist, but I know enough to understand that there is considerable variability in timing for onset of acne.  anyone trying to use physical clues like this is some sort of where's waldo, is quite frankly an idiot.
