Surber. Looked like he had the flu or something

He looked bad in the Big 12 finals too, like a limp noodle. Got smoked in both his matches at NCAAs.

Noticing AJ Ferrari has no tattoos.  That's a headscratcher for me.

You'd never put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari, right?

Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Unless an obvious Messenbrink or Steveson, the most surprising to me is the depth of college wrestling. Everyone truly has a shot. O’Toole was almost out, Robinson, etc. Look at the double digit seeds in the Round of 16! I freaking love it!

He was clearly rusty after sitting out last season.

Or he can't use one arm because his shoulder is messed up.

Chumbley, though I thought he had a good shot at getting to the quarters (and now the semis), doing it while scoring 3 pts (count 'em) in 2 matches. And the penalty point in OT of course.

O'Toole looking sluggish and almost losing to a 16.  Hopefully he wasn't just cruising thinking he had an easy path to the finals with Haines and Hamiti on the other side.  But if he was, then this might have been a good wake up call for him.

He has a back injury and is nowhere close to 100%.  Instead of playing it close to the vest, he flat out said in his post match interview that there are a lot of techniques in his arsenal that he simply can't do at the moment.

Norman is really good, still don't understand how he got a 16 seed, I believe he was 20-4 this year. I watched him in Vegas and he gave Hamiti his toughest match of the year besides KOT.

That really sucks. A healthy O'Toole makes it a much better experience. I want to see the best at their best against the best at their best.

Norman also beat Shane Griffith last year. He needs another gas tank.
