Lachlan McNeil and Raney Brothers on Campus at tOSU, hopefully some good news comes from this..

Hmmm.... interesting with Jax and Vega coming in at the same weights as the Raneys. Unless McNeil goes to 141 I am not sure it makes sense with Swiderski and Jamison at 149 already.

With Davino there, where do the Raney bros fit?

Good question, maybe RS them, with Mendez Graduating and see where they plug in the following year...tough call nowadays with the portals...

They don't really.  Davino, McCrone, Kilkeary, Bouzakis, etc. Now if Bouzakis and Kilkeary/McCrone portal out...:classic_cool:

Looks like OSU is playing the portal for the first time this year, Tom finally realized he needs to open up the checkbook or get left behind?

Basch is now saying Miller committed to ISU and VT flipped him, that didn't happen. Miller never committed to ISU, always planned on taking the VT visit.

He didn't say ISU.  He said he verballed somewhere else.  Other folks are saying ISU.

To clarify, he's making it seem like the VT visit popped up at the last second after he committed elsewhere which is not the case

That's interesting....

I've read and wonder if he is going 197 next season. Of course, that creates another log jam with Merrill.

I see the Raney's at 141-149 in college... only juniors  and wrestled 132-138 this HS season, although Jayden cut down to 57kg for the U20 open. I really don't see this being an issue with one year of HS and a redshirt coming.

And Brayden was never actually in the portal

Was he in under 'mixed' and not 'mens' wrestling, by chance?

Three kids all with high expectation at 184/197 and all with multiple years of eligibility.      HMMM

Fair enough.  At least two of the four mentioned will also grow.  I believe Mendez still has a RS and OLY RS. Bouzakis OLY RS. Davino OLY RS.

Love to have them at ORTC.  Good if they go to Illinois...💪

Brock Herman to Little Rock.  Not sure if others had mentioned it.  My guess is that Matty Bianchi bumps up to 165 for his last year.  Herman did not fare as well at 65 as he did at 57

I have no inside scoop, but I wonder if Diego Sotelo could find his way to Illinois (his homestate and they have an opening at 125) or follow in the footsteps of his former teammate Yara over to Rutgers.

I expect Brayden Thompson to earn a wrestle-off against Ryder.  Loser enters a wrestle-off with Merrill.  If Merrill were to lose that, he enters a wrestle-off with Doucet.
