You do realize he as president has the legal authority to declassified and keep documents.

Are you implying that he didn't declassify them after all?

Pretty sure that doesn't help your argument, slick.

You sure like assigning words to people that helps make your argument. Your confusion on this issue may be a result of weak reading compression.

State your position clearly then.

Did Trump declassify all of the documents the DoJ seized from Mar-a-Lago?

Maybe the dude at Pelosi’s home was gathering documents hidden in the woodwork? Might explain the hammer.

The hammer he used to smash the skull of an 85 year old man?

Now it is not just the garage and the DC office.   More docs have been found.   He's been kiping classified docs since he was a senator.  Seems like a habit that never changed.

According to the American Bar Assoc, Trump is not off base when it comes to declassification, though there is a process to inform other departments that need to know.  That process, he did not follow.  The key point from the ABA....the President's authority to declassify has never been challenged.

Fact check explores presidential authority to declassify (americanbar.org)

As for Vice Presidents, they too have authority to declassify secret documents, but only to the extent they originally classified the document.  Vice Presidents typically do not classify documents, so it is unlikely Biden and Pence had the authority to do so for those secretive docs in their possession.

It's quite possible, the docs Pence had at home were declassified by Trump.

Here’s the problem:

In order for him to declassify a document, he has to give the order to the DOD (or other original classification authority) which requires them to log that order and begin the process. It is not, in fact, instantaneous.

If those orders happened, there appears to be no such record of these orders. It seems unlikely that hundreds of documents were ordered declassified, across four years, and none of them were logged.

Obama still in the clear.  8 years. No docs, no special counsels of any kind.  We need more people like him.

I'm sure the Mexican cartels would love some new guns. Of course with the wide open borders they can pretty much do whatever they want.

Getting guns has never been an issue for them.   All those migrants are picking up guns and going back to Mexico???

It was a reference to the Obama scandal,  but I see the intellectual dishonesty in your statement.  "All immigrants". The truth is clear. The border is a mess and the cartels are able to take great liberties with regard to the Biden admin turning a blind eye. Any reasonable person can recognize the humanitarian crisis. Drugs and human trafficking are the result of their political agenda.

Do you know, or even care to know,  how drugs are smuggled into the US?

The border is a political tool by the fascist right.  The real humanitarian crisis is and always has been in the countries these people are fleeing. If you actually cared, you would demand we give asylum.

Please enlighten us all.   Perhaps we are missing something.
