A mere major decision win, not even close to a major. I’m somewhat joking but I think his only shot of topping Gable for Hodge was to win by all TF and one 14 point win.

I think it comes down to a lifetime achievement (Starocci 5-timer) or the most dominant force in wrestling since Hodge himself.

They’ll probably split the award again.

MM beat Mantanona by a major decision about a week and a half ago.

I do think Mesenbrink should be in the conversation for the Hodge. Imo, "# of offensive points given up" pretty good indicator of dominance and control, and would like to see it considered in the Hodge metrics, along with bonus rate, etc. I believe MM, Gable, Kerk, Keck(?), Ramos, and Hamiti have yet to be taken down or turned this season. Not sure about Starocci or Hendrickson or anyone else.

Hamiti has been taken down once or twice.

Beau Bartlett has a 100-1  shot to get the Hodge.  But don't discount the nonconformist style points he might win with renegade voters (all two of them ... one being Askren perhaps) given his unorthodox choice of wrestling shoes.
