Ya. He got caught taking all the toilets out of his mansion to not have to pay property taxes because it was “unlivable” …. Then put them back in after.    Maybe that left winger billionaire should pay his fair share in taxes.  But I digress.

In Illinois that's how them wingers roll.  Folks have known Madigan was corrupt for decades, couldn't do anything about cause had the support of the payed off left wingers.

Who thinks this is a good idea?   Notice the NYC mayor is not a defendant?

Why do you think that is?   Hmmm.

Bill O Reilly thinks he might be helping the investigation.

Adams was outspoken that the immigrants in the city were creating a big issue.

that's why some people thought they (the lefties prosecutors in the city) filed charges on Adams

Here's the letter offering resignation from the lawyer who was tasked with this case.  She was appointed three weeks ago ago by President Trump and was a former clerk for Justice Antonin Scalia.

It's also discussed here with some reply from the DA:

I guess at least They are going after someone.   Letting these cities thumb their nose at federal law for to long now.

It’s not the city’s job to enforce immigration law.

Never has been, never will be.

It was up until the time sanctuary entities became all the rage.   Before that there was great cooperation between federal and local authorities.   So don't get high on your horse.

It is not the job of the federal government to infuse a city with cash that does not assist in enforcing immigration law.   They are all about to find that out.

Maybe true.  Maybe not when a few governors:mayors:AGs get convicted.   It’s trumps second term so he may go hard after these knuckle heads.

Actually it is not.   The Feds offer money but the entity receiving it must comply with any requirements to receive the money.   The Feds are not obligated to offer the money.

Did they change the constitution recently

Where in the Constitution does it require the federal government to provide money to states and city governments?

At least 5 other attorneys have now resigned over this issue, and Emil Bove, the former Trump defense lawyer/current higher up in DOJ has written in his letter accepting Sassoon's resignation that “In no valid sense do you uphold the Constitution by disobeying direct orders implementing the policy of a duly elected President,” which obviously just blatantly removes the idea of DOJ being independent from the President.

I know a few DAs.   There is usually a fair amount of turnover when the politician’s party changes.  I assume you don’t think that’s weird do you?

I get the political rah rah part.  But this seems normal.   Liberal New York attorneys not wanting to work for the republicans.  Crazy isn’t it?

Did you not read any of the stuff posted?

The USA who is resigning is a DA that TRUMP JUST APPOINTED. She's TRUMP's pick for the position.

She was a clerk for SCALIA.

I don't know how to break it to you, but she's not "liberal" in any sense of the word.
