What will be the penalties from Iowa , Big Ten and NCAA for him running into the stands and postering with a Nebraska fan.   He was at least 10 rows up.  I have to believe a suspension would be looming.   Another ugly incident for Iowa wrestling.

During the time he can review Iowa guidelines.

I believe “running into the stands” and “posturing with a Nebraska fan” were 2 separate things.  I think he ran into the stands to celebrate with Iowa fans.  The Nebraska fan that he said something to (Telford and a wrestler did a little taunting as well) was sitting in floor seats.

The army crawl across the mat was a nice touch too.

These were the best videos I could find.  First one was shared on HR, you can see him first run towards the stands, but the fan in question is in the bottom right corner at the end

Besides the whole Iowa bench out of the corners, tell me once it is appropriate for an Associate Head coach to run into the stands to celebrate or taunt?

Does Big Ten, Iowa and NCAA understand what would have happen If an Associate Head Coach runs in stands and visiting fans get physical.   It would have be Detriot all over again.

Looks like your spreading misinformation to me!!  Hès sharing with his sponsors and posing with a guy in a Hawkeye cap.

You should ask to speak to the manager.

I was rooting for nebraska super hard in this duel, but this is stupid as hell.

Love the hawks or hate the hawks, love carver or hate carver, that arena is the beating heart of college wrestling, and the brands are two of the rare few who have the passion to fan that flame.

College sports are professional sports at this point, there’s nothing wrong with some jawing and giving it back when they definitely heard it earlier in the match.

I hope the AD just sends that fan a bright yellow foam middle finger with a letter that says “thank you for coming to carver and supporting iowa wrestling.”

I don’t really care much about it, was just trying to clarify what happened.

nothing can be worse than the no-call against Terry years ago when he put his hands on the Official during the match encouraging a pin...Match was close and I think if it had been called right for Terry's antics Iowa would have lost...Some Iowa fans must remember the match

Thanks for posting these.  Seems like this is basically Terry gotta Terry, and although Terry Terrying is a pretty big topic (that's why Flo had such a hard job editing down their Terry movie to just a couple of hours), in this case with respect to these clips, I was far more impressed by who I assume was Moriah Marinelli, or to be more precise, Air Moriah, jumping to the ceiling during the pinning combination.

Looked like normal jumping to me.  Like everyone else around her

What was this about?

the guy might have grabbed his balls or talked smack while he was riding him, who knows?

"Half measures are a coward's form of insanity."

Which part?

Screaming at him mostly. I’m not saying it should be penalized, but seems unnecessary.

If we're discussing this honestly, I'm guessing that Nebraska fan got exactly what he was seeking out of the interaction.

I bet that NU fan loved every second of it.
