jross Posted February 10 Posted February 10 I wonder how people active on Twitter did vote in reality.
jross Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Politico? "I mean, Politico, my former employer, and I knew at the time, didn’t do itself any favors," Caputo said in the exchange, which was shared Thursday on YouTube. "I was covering Biden at the time, and I remember coming to my editor and saying, ‘Hey, we need to write about the Hunter Biden laptop.’ And I was told this came from on high at Politico: Don’t write about the laptop, don’t talk about the laptop, don’t tweet about the laptop. And the only thing Politico wound up writing was that piece that called it disinformation, which charitably could be called misinformation, at the least." - Marc Caputo from Politico
jross Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Hmm... back channel money from the government influencing the media... 1

This gives lawmakers the cover they need to be able to resist when their own caucus wants them to get on board with one pork barrel project after another after another. Also, it has been 14 business days. To use another analogy: this is just the pre-season drills. Pitchers and catchers are the only ones in Spring Training. Nah, I'm talking about the ridiculous amount of airtime and dunking these morons are posting about on Twitter day in and day out, "MASSIVE FRAUD" inciting tons of morons to freak out. They're overplaying what they're doing. An audit was required, but Elon is doing this as an ego trip / for personal financial gain, that's it.

They don't have the guts to cut social security at all or any significant military spending. For Dod, theyll mainly just go after contractors that compete agsinst president musk. I guarantee it.

Elon's net worth has skyrocketed by $200 BILLION dollars since Trump was elected and he's been allowed to do whatever the hell he wants. But yeah, what financial gain? When a reporter asked who is reviewing Musk's actions and determining there are no conflicts of interest in what he's delving into, they simply replied that there were no checks, he is policing himself. Having somebody police their own conflicts of interest is, in fact, a conflict of interest in itself. It's honestly laughable. Edited February 10 by pokemonster
Le duke Posted February 10 Posted February 10 What personal financial gain? For starters, he had the FAA administrator who was going to fine him/his company fired. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WE Will go with 24K each times 5 million. Bam, you have 120 billion dollars. Then they are also getting Medicare illegally. Hmm, we will put down 20 billion on that. Thats 140 billion. Then you have a few folks collecting disability benefits illegally. We will go with another 10 billion. Grand total 150 billion.

Scouts Honor Posted February 10 Posted February 10 i have asked this question many times on here. no one has answered. the problem is b/c of this misunderstanding of numbers. TEST: draw a 4 inch line... put million on one end and Trillion on the other. Then tell me, where does Billion go. this illustrates the problem well in my mind.

In summary, the primary drivers of Musk's net worth increase are the significant rise in Tesla's stock value, the substantial valuation of SpaceX, and his strategic political engagements that have aligned with favorable policy developments that suit his companies.
