UNI will need a lot to go their way, but it all seems to be within their margins. Probably the most important/biggest dual of Schwab's career so far. Some pretty good matchups between guys with some history with each other.

125: Spratley beat Anderson 3-2 around this time last year.
133: Don't know who OSU will put here, but will probably be a good match either way.
141: Happel is 3-0 against Jamison.
149: Young majored Realbuto in December.
157: Should be real good one between Downey and Fish
165: Amine beat Thomsen in SV in December
174: Hamiti heavy favorite
184: Always fun to see what the gap is between these guys. Keck won by decision the last time these guys wrestled.
197: Surber has beat Voelker by decision and Voelker has pinned Surber.
285: Basically guaranteed 5 or 6 points for Hendrickson. Probably 6

Could easily see OSU winning this something like 24-9 if a couple of the toss ups go to OSU. But should be at least 8 pretty good matches!

125 Spratley dec Anderson               3-0

133 Hughes dec Farber                     6-0

141 Jamison dec Happel I think Jamison has surpassed Happel.  9-0

149 Young dec Realbuto     12-0

157 Downey dec Fish     12-3

165 Amine dec Thomsen  15-3

174 Hamiti TF Simma  20-3

184 Keck md Plott      20-7

197 Voelker dec Surber   20-10

HWT Hendrickson FALL Runyan  26-10

Black hats win this one but I can see matches going other than predicted at 141, 157, 165,  and 197.

It should be a fun dual. The roster battle at 133 makes every match interesting for OKST, and Farber will be another quality test for whoever wrestles. I'm really curious to see what Jamison vs Happel looks like this year. Jamison has looked like a different guy this year.

Like you said, should be a lot of competitive matches in this one.

For UNI to be ranked #5, Downey and Keck could be the only winners tomorrow night.  Could go differently, but I wouldn't be shocked if this was the outcome either.

I wouldn't be completely shocked if 184 was the only weight NIU wins, but I think they pick up 3 or 4 wins.

UNI seems to have a bunch of guys who have bought in. Easy group to cheer for.

Grinding it out in a facility worse than many HS, no team gear...just wrestling. UNI Fight!

Was discussing this dual with some friends and if the cards go UNI's way it can be a pretty interesting dual

125 - Spratley has been on a little slump as of late...upset maybe UNI's way?

133 - Toss up imo

141 - UNI edge

149 - UNI edge

165 - Amine plays with fire and low scoring matches....

197 - Voelker is tough. If he stays out of Surbers funk (easier said than done) this one could be good

Unless Young is out, 149 is a strong lean for OSU

I would take Realbuto head to head against Young - if you're looking for a friendly non-monetary wager (avatar or signature)

I've seen the phrase "sig bet" a few times, but not familiar with how it works. I'm just pointing out that Young majored him a month ago, so should be considered the favorite.

That is a pretty good piece of a supporting evidence in your favor...

I don't like to bet when it involves a team I'm also emotionally invested in, so I'll have to pass on the bet. Would like to hear why you think Realbuto gets it done this time though!

It's not based on much.  I like the team and staff that UNI has - they seem to keep developing guys.  Hard working, overachieving type team.  For Realbuto,  that Young loss was his worst of the year.  He has a couple of decent wins (pinning Vasquez probably his best so far this year), with closes losses to All Americans Lovett, McNeil, and Abas.

No worries about the bet.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The practice attire. They all aren't kitted up in UNI training gear like you see at Oklahoma State (and others) as seen in this Flo video:

UNI doesn't have many creature comforts.

I find myself increasingly rooting for UNI.  Hard working, overlooked, underrated, gritty, etc.

I thought Hughes was a phenom - maybe the weight cut is too much?  Or an injury of some kind?
