I thought listing "everyone who ever came out of the WPIAL" was a bit much and truthfully disingenuous

While my fanhood is gonna pull for the WPIAL kid when applicable; that doesn't mean aesthetically they were my favourite's to watch.

By far my best skillset though was throwing legs in (being 5'6" 119lbs I wasn't exactly loaded w/ muscle) so I should have added all college guys who still successfully utilize leg riding regularly - when not just a stall technique but actually doing the dam thing

I had the same frame. went 118.   leg ride to far side to far side cradle. HS guys just put that far side knee up for some reason!! Belly them with hip pressure then wait til they lift the far knee to get to base.

Even knowing how those matches ended up, I still got tensed up watching Andonian trying to figure out if he's pinning or being pinned at any given second!  I loved watching his matches and seeing the refs make calls and wave them off constantly because it looked like he was taken down and then boom, quick switch up.

Bryce's matches with Ed Scott at NCSU were the ones that got my 8 year old son to fall in love with wrestling...plus Bryce gave him a huge high five at the ACC Championships and that just sealed the deal!

Control the hips - control the match!

Regardless of their singlet/university or time-period, Tom and Terry Brands.

From the handshake to the final whistle, they were the embodiment of collegiate folkstyle wrestling!

That's right, I don't recall Forys AA'd at Pitt but I do recall him not qualifying for states despite his abilities.  WPIAL should get more allocations haha

For NCAA wrestling it is Yojo Uetake of Oklahoma State and Curly Culp of Arizona State.
