5 ranked guys at 125, 6 at 133, 4 at 141, 149 & 174 appear to be the deepest weights, 133 with 5 in the top 20 probably the best (+ Burwikkk), or 174 with 2 in the top 10 (Wolak & Sax)

Also several intriguing redshirts/current backups such as Sonny Sasso, Zack Ryder, Mirasolas, and Kurt McHenry.

Speaking of Sonny Sasso, not sure if that starting spot is currently settled as both he and “the GOAT Andy Smith” are entered.  However in another potential VT roster battle Catka is entered at heavyweight but not Mullen.

I'm particularly interested in seeing how Ryder + Mirasolas are coming along. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Ryder wins 184. He's really good. The Mirasolas, I could see them both placing. Mirasola the Smaller got wrecked by Barr at Black Knight but Barr might just be better than I thought he'd be.

Anyone know if Sonny Sasso is going to wrestle again this year?

He is currently registered for the Scuffle according to Flo

I'll pick two unneeded guys to win their weight class.

Beric Jordan and Connor Mirasola

Cole may have a shot at HWT

I feel my excitement level as being lower than it usually is at this time of year.  Not sure why exactly.  It could be my fault entirely.

For my good internet buddy fly, can any identify a potential finals match worth getting excited about?

Jordan over McHenry 5-4

At 157, top seed but unranked (although the # 2 seed is ranked 25th) Noah Castillo of UTC goes down to Jack Neis of American

Ryder and both Mirasolas into the quarters

Kurt McHenry is the sole reason 114/115/118 should still exist.

He’s so good, but so small. He’s killing a kid that looks like a 141/149 compared to a regular 125.

I rarely think, “Man, this 5’5”, 132lb kid looks like a giant” but he made McHenry look tiny. Threw him around a couple of times but McHenry was too quick and too skilled overall.
