As opposed to Trump/MAGA preferred candidate Rick Scott.  One last flex for dying turtle Mitch McConnell.  Interested to see how this goes over with the famously temperate Trump wing.

You do realize MAGA is a campaign slogan not a people.  Misusing "MAGA" is an obvious sign of TDS.

Just blatantly false, lol.   Have you had yourself checked for TDSDS?  Is the TDS in the room with you right now?

Thune after being elected leader: Senate Republicans 'united behind President Trump's agenda'

Thune said he is “extremely honored” to be selected Senate GOP leader.

“I am beyond proud of the work we have done to secure our majority and the White House,” he added.

“This Republican team is united behind President Trump’s agenda, and our work starts today.”

Not sure why this is a deal.   Trump gets what he wants.

We shall see.  They obviously should, but again, Trump et al wanted Rick Scott.  Big Trump surrogates were attacking the idea of Thune or Cornyn just two days ago, guys like Tucker Carlson and RFK Jr.

Take it up with them.

You do realize RFK Jr is a left democrat correct?

RFK Jr is a wacko who's own family have come out against him publicly.

So are many democrats.

Why then, would you have congressmen/women, standing on the house floor saying “ WE ARE ultra-MAGA, super-MAGA”?  Doesn’t “we are” clearly signify ‘a people’??

Because the left wing media kept missing the term so some adopted it as a badge of honor.  But when the left uses it its TDS.

Whoa!!  A new syndrome.  And, admittedly, a nice clever recycle and turnabout of the DS acronym.

Shall we dub it TDS2 or TD2S2?  Or TDSS (Trump Derangement Syndrome squared)?

Maybe its original form is best - TDSDS.  But don't we already have a term for that?  American.

As a South Dakotan, I can say that John Thune is nothing more than a career politician bought and paid for by corporations. We does not serve the people of SD well. Neither does Mike Rounds for what it's worth.

People are interpreting this thread as a shot at Trump, when really it was more of a comment on the power McConnell still wields.  Just a classic case of TDSDS.  "'Orange Man Bad' is bad."

It’s a sign that K Street still wields influence.  Scott more closely fit the mold of successful businessmen offering their skills for improvement.
