Devin Magro ( Super 32 runner up) from Bishop McCort flips to Rutgers...The McCort Pipeline to The State University of New Jersey is picking up steam!

Is he joining Devon Magro at Rutgers?

Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

He is joining Mccorts 157lbr who placed at ironman, who also happens to be former teammates with the two guys that were once committed to Cornell and then psu and then Rutgers. His name escapes me though.

You forgot Messenbrick.

What happens if Basett and Messenbrick end up on the same team?  🤔

TBH, I didn't go back and read all four pages of comments as most of them are well outdated by now. However, with Bo's comments in the past about wanted to be a trendsetter and "the guy" at a program, it seems only fitting that he is to David Taylor what DT was to Cael when building their respective programs. Bassett has the chance to be the face of the program during the revival of Ok St to a perennial title contender. It has to be tempting, especially having the chance to push for their first title in 20+ years during his career.

He can do that at OhieSt as well as OSU...

ftfy ... and if Bassett has actually been watching college wrestling, say the last couple weeks or so, which program might he want to join?  🤔

I'd argue it's not the same at tOSU as OKST. The Tom Ryan regime has had several "faces" of the program during his tenure, and none more notable than Logan Stieber. Logan went to tOSU and with that came his brother Hunter, and high school teammate Tessari, and then you had the Jordans, Snyder, MyMar, NaTo, etc. etc. OSU is a great program, and I would still love to see Bo go there, but OKST has been (relatively) down for a number of years at this point, and with a new coach and hopeful resurgence to becoming a title contender, Bo has the chance to be part of the revitalization of the program. I love Tom Ryan and tOSU, but given the comments he's made, it seems like Bo is either going to go to the proven PSU or become a face of a new look OKST team. I'll eat my words when the decision comes out, but if I were putting money on it today, I actually think OKST is where he ends up. I'm sure you'll have a quippy one liner for this take as well.

For someone who wrote ONLY to correct another poster that didn't need correcting,

"They got rid of the lowest weight and slightly adjusted the other weights to compensate. Saying they moved all of the weights up 7 pounds makes no sense."

you sure are an expert.

How was that? Did I fulfill your notion of who I am...:classic_dry:
