When did Reader leave?  I totally missed that...

Nope, he's still there. That's my bad. I have no idea why I said that. Maybe it's from rumors he may be leaving last summer, but he's still there.

Becker from Parkside.

It won't be Ben Askren, he doesn't want the job, the athletic dept doesn't want him but Becker is an outstanding coach, was a very good Wrestler(3X undefeated D2 Champ...spent a year at Cent Mich and I guess he wasn't fully invested and wanted to Wrestle closer to home).

Not an opinion, just what pretty much everyone has said. I believe someone just said on the Forum Askren wouldn't want the job as he'd have to give up this entire program HE has built, the infrastructure and he seems to love doing it(and he's doing a pretty damn good job at it).

And my understanding(strictly from reading and listening to what has been said publicly) Askren thinks Becker is a very good coach. I know Becker took a 3rd at the WTT. Lost to Mark Hall when Hall was going into his Sr year 6-4. So he was competitive. Not a David Taylor, but, hell, gotta start somewhere.

I wouldn’t hate that hire for them.

Fugitt absolutely fell in his lap, and he is really, really, REALLY, lucky that Zan is a loyal kid. I personally want him to leave, and with Gross no longer there, I might be able to stay on him 🙂

I want him out of there ASAP tbh.

Has anyone heard on if Dillion Johnson is gonna try to wrestle this year?

Probably not a great time to approach Coach Fickell about this. He can't be in a great mood rn. Cincinnati Coach Luke Fickell on the ...

I highly doubt it. He's on track to start next year in football. Wrestling would be a great way to blow that opportunity since he's already undersized.

Undersized due to his frame. It's not like he has to cut like Nash did.

The plan WAS for him to Wrestle. I don't know the update. That was a big part of his decision. NU was allowing him to do both...and then when he flipped, Wisconsin said he could do both.

It seems next to impossible to me, but if anyone can do it, it's a DL who is only a meal or two away from making 285, if that at this point. Keeping weight on at the end of the FB season isn't easy.

Wisconsin's 23-year bowl streak...which is somehow the longest in the Nation(or was) coming to a close should certainly helped his case. He's only a few weeks behind everyone else. Not sure what his ceiling is though. Rd12? He's a helluva HWT, but...there are a lot of them in the B1G, Nation. Maybe he's 4-8?

Wisconsin loses 26-17 to Lock Haven, and that’s with Fugitt upsetting Noto

But they beat Bloomsburg and Bucknell, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.  Jump around!!!
