Actions Have Consequences

Recommended Posts

For a year, the Biden administration has refused to curb Israeli escalation in the region (let alone the massacre in Gaza). Israel claims it's "de-escalating through escalation," whatever 1984 nonsense that is.

We should have stopped them when they did "targeted" air strikes in other sovereign countries. We didn't. We should have stopped them when they carried out terror attacks in Lebanon. We didn't. We should have stopped them when the bombed Beirut and killed hundreds of Lebanese civilians. We didn't.

Now the Iranians have said enough and swallowed the bait. Missiles are falling on Tel Aviv - real ones, not glorified fireworks. We will almost assuredly get dragged into a regional conflict to defend Israel, just like Netanyahu wanted. Congratulations to all the geniuses on here who wouldn't hear any criticism of Israel and our policy towards them. You're getting exactly what you asked for, whether you realize it or not.

hmm, so Iran's escalations are just forgotten?

Iran specifically chose not to retaliate in a way that would kill people when Israel struck its embassy. Iran is no angel, but your refusal to accept the obvious fact that Israel has been the escalating party in the last year is sheer stupidity.

After 10/7, Israel said it's objective was to rescue the hostages and re-secure its borders. That immediately shifted when Hamas offered to return ALL hostages in exchange for them not invading.

The remaining hostages could have been home months ago. Gaza has been levelled. Israel's borders were secured. Hamas accepted the ceasefire deal. But Israel continues to escalate because they see this as an opportunity to annex Gaza, the West Bank, and parts of Lebanon. That's what this is about.

And if you actually listen to what they say publicly *in Hebrew*, you'd know all that. They are extremely open and honest about their intentions when not speaking to a Western audience.

They're Gods chosen people. They can do whatever they want. and we send them blank checks. We need to bless them. Bible says so. Bible also says they are entitled to that land so that means they are.

This is the EXACT definition of "human shields" you all used in Gaza. Will you apply it equally?

"Human shields" has become a meaningless term. They called the Lebanese civilians killed or injured in their pager terror attack or their bombings human shields too. Going to the grocery store or simply living in a residential neighborhood does not make you a legit military target, even if militants shop or live there too. It's always been absurd and you all know it.

Israel's attack on Gaza was nothing remotely close

Israel's counterattack on Gaza was nothing even close to proportiional to what was done to them. Thousands of Gazans dead; mostly civilians. This is what happens to you when you commit genocide for decades.

Netanyahu said regime change is coming to Iran sooner than you think.

Well yeah, he's trying to force us into going to war with them for this purpose. Good luck with that though.

How are you this naive?

what's wrong with that? I don't even live in Philadelphia. I'm embarrassed to be a U.S. citizen with us taking the side of that genocidal maniac.

Israel got off very light with all the new land that they decided to take themselves since 1948 and ongoing brutality against the Palestinians. In both Gaza and West Bank.

Israel's killed far far more arabs than the other way around. You're arguing against demonstrable reality and the only way that's possible is if you don't value arab lives the same as others.

They have whatever comes to their way now.

And you are complaining about it when they defend themselves.

They have not gone to war against anyone as the aggressor.   They have answered the aggressor with very aggressive defense.   And the world has a tizzy when that happens.  Jordan and Egypt have learned their lesson.   They don't do that anymore you'll notice.

Iran has pushed them to their limit via hamas and hezbollah.   Iran just fired over a hundred missiles at Israel.   But I'm sure you will say Israel should not retaliate.   That is just idiotic.   Iran did this precisely for the carnage of hezbollah, they said so.  Their favorite pet has been squashed because they were planting the seeds of major escalation.   So your solution would be for Israel to forgive Iran for over a hundred missiles, hexbollah for constant rocket attacks, hamas for constant rocket attacks and an incursion that killed 1200 people and carried off 200 prisoners.   It won't end until Israel is allowed to defend itself properly and learn these guys to stop attacking them like they did with Jordan and Egypt.
