Those staying in hotels, how far are you from the Wells Fargo Center? Right now, what i see available for a reasonable price Is 2-3 miles away.

Staying downtown and plan to use public transit over to the arena.  Will see how it goes.

How is the public transport downtown?

Where are you staying?  Are you looking to just get to Wells Fargo & back?

Anyone  else with any questions more than happy to help

My recommendation was going to be that yes - the public transport should be fine - but travel in groups especially at night.

Hey @PortaJohn, this is shaping as a last minute trip so I don’t have reservations yet, but most of what I see available is around 3 miles directly north of the arena.

Is there decent transportation to/from that area?

yes you can take the Broad Street Line (the orange one).  Straight north from the stadium is basically where the actual downtown Philly is located so you'll find more to do around there.

Above is a link to the Broad Street Line.  there is an icon on the map to the right.  Make sure to click it "on" and you can see the stops.  If you're a little ways off from the subway line then Uber is your best bet.  Wont be too expensive.  3 miles North of the arena can mean a lot of different neighborhoods.  If you have it narrowed down to a few places I can let you know the pros for each one.  Also "NGR" is the stop for the sports complexes.  Last stop on the line so impossible to get off the wrong stop on the way there

Mike "Mr. Hodge Trophy" Chapman told me last year's fan fest was his last. I wonder if those are related.

It could be!

No way ...lower bowl All-Sessions tickets are starting at $3200 on Stubhub

Yes way.   I mean yes way my prices.....you need to find another source for tickets.....this is my 46th NCAA/40 in a row, and $500 is the highest I've ever paid....of course the first year/'72 programs were $2 and now they are around $25.

I’m guessing you got on a list and bought directly from a university when they became available?

If not, would you be willing to share your source? I’m still looking.

Secondary market prices will drop significantly once the tickets are released to the schools.

Face value seats given to the school are listed at just over $400 for upper deck.
