He looks bad so far after being down 8-0 ... but rallies with a pin. Dylan Palacio (now of Uruguay and former folkstyle wrestler) looked terrible at 74 KG. He lost 12-2 to a guy from Brazil. SocraTease Posted March 1 Posted March 1 (edited) The big upcoming match in the quarters is Nick Lee vs. Austin Gomez. Winner goes to semis and very likely the finals for an Olympic berth. Lee wrestled Gomez at Worlds last year and pinned him after leading ... something like 7-3 but Gomez was and is dangerous. Lee can go upper body however and has some length on Gomez, which helps. RBY took care of business quickly in his first match. Alvan from Brazil is a Brazilian-American who wrestles for Columbia (the Ivy, not the country.) NCAA qualifier.
