The bold is just false.  And you literally went to name-calling in the next sentence!

I'm sorry you feel that way. I feel that, in general, our exchanges have been cordial; however I would love to for you to point out a place where I've been irrational.

And Biden IS doing all that.  In the real world.  Getting things passed that are bipartisan support, despite the efforts of certain aspects of conservative political sphere trying hard to undermine that, and doing things counter to what the more progressive wings of his party want, such as how he's handling the Israel-Palestine conflict or his administrations actions re: drilling for oil.

Looks like auto correct to me.

In the name of cordiality, I would say the bold is not patently false, but much of the time it is.

Dimon sees there is a danger to the Biden Presidency

The odds of Dimon being a democrat voter is about 95%.  I expect that he is not making this statement out of hypocrisy nor to protect the people who want to Make America Great Again from effetes.  He is issuing a warning to his own side.  Instead of the democrats learning from the first Trump victory that they should not alienate their natural base of the regular guy (and his wife/family) who loves America, wants to be left alone, and needs a little help against the power forces in our society they have turned every single lever of power (government, education, media, corporate executives, etc.) against him.  Dimon is simply pointing out to his own side that maybe this is not wise.

Here's how i see it:

people never really care about policy. what they care about is the soap opera of politics: the rhetoric, the appearance, the virtuous speeches and fake smiles.

until....

things get really bad. then they start caring about what they should have cared about the entire time: the policy that affects our lives.

imo, this is where Dimon is coming from at the moment.

i honestly don't care (and i don't think anyone really should) about who is the more evil candidate. i care about the how their policies are going to affect the citizens of this country.

I think it is a combination.   Dimon is fairly non political.   However, I also believe he must lean D because what he said was to Biden and his idiots to grow up and listen.   Stop calling people names.   Not helpful.

It may also be that he was just making an observation of what people are thinking.   Bret Stephens did the same  in the article I posted.   Bret Stephens obviously is not a Trump acolyte.  Interesting how both came out about the same time.

It might be time for Ds to listen to the concerns.   If they decide not to, there might be electoral consequences.

The trends are separating.

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4416654-trump-leads-biden-with-independent-voters-by-11-points-poll/

Trump leads Biden with independent voters by 11 points: Poll

The trends suggest Dimon and Stephens may be on to something.
