Washington, Michigan. 2 more games to play!  Bama probably in. Maybe Texas. We'll see what FSU does

Texas beat Bama so Bama has to be out.

If FSU wins, I think it should be Michigan, Washington, FSU, and Texas.

That would be okay, I just wouldn’t put money on any of them beating Alabama or Georgia.

There's no way to know. They only play each other.  The one time Alabama played a tough out of conference game, they got whipped at home by Texas.  The SEC is a tautology of college football dominance.

It’s always been about who was best over the season but especially at the end.  Early losses don’t mean as much.  Unless you talk about D2 and D3 - they have playoffs.

I'd pick WA, TX, MI and FSU.

This is the most logical outcome.  SEC isn't the dominant force it has been, most of the SECs best wins are against other SEC teams, so there's no way to know how good they take are this year.

Agreed its the most logical. Question is do they screw FSU and put in Bama? Qb situation not good at FSU.

What is so impressive about FSU’s schedule?  They didn’t play one top ten team all year (unless you count the pre-season ranking of LSU). What is their signature win? Is it as good as a win over the two time defending champ on a 29 game winning streak at the peak of the season?  Who is going to play quarterback?

Edit: just realized haven’t given mine.  Michigan-Washington-Texas-Bama in that order.

I don’t like picking Bama. But is what it is.

Bama would make for a far better match-up for sure. Fsu will probably get destroyed.

That’s what I think it comes down to. The role in the room is supposed to pick the four best teams at the end of the season. Just don’t think Florida State is one of the top 6-7 teams right now.

I love howwith Bama we6re just pretending the only performance that counts is the last one.  We don't have to count the loss to TX by 10 points AT HOME or the crap performance against USF, or barely squeaking by a terrible Arkansas team, or needing a miracle to beat a bad Auburn team.  This is college football, where all the games are supposed to matter.

They might, but that's what it would be....a screwing.

Who said they don’t count or factor in?  Do you think if they didn’t, there would be any debate what so ever that a 1 loss SEC champ Alabama who just beat the #1 team on a 29 game winning streak in a great game at the peak of the season should be in???  If those games didn’t count there would be zero debate.

It’s  perfectly fine to pick apart Bama or Texas’ schedule and say FSU should be in.  But again, where is FSU’s signature win?  If you watched all the games yesterday, what does your eyeball test tell you (and yes eyeball test and available roster does matter, that’s why the committee gets together to watch the games together)

Don't lose at home by 10.  This is college football.  I don't need an eyeball test for that, there's an L in that column.  But again, people advocating for Bama are just insisting we focus on what happened yesterday.  That's not even the QB FSU would be rolling out there in the CFP.

Maybe some, true. But you’re going to sit there and say that you pretend to know what’s in the mind of all these people?

Not to mention you are arguing against your own arguing. Again I ask, you think if it was just based on yesterday….controlling Georgia from start to finish in Atlanta….you honestly think there would be any debate. It’s because the whole season factors in that there is debate around Alabama.
