NCAA total revenue last year was 1,140,000,000 last year. Yes over 1 BILLION dollars!!!!! Total. Total Division 1 athletics generated 15.8 billion dollars in revenue in 2019.  There should be enough money to buy 80, 4 th place trophy's.

Not saying I don’t, but are there other sports that actually care much about teams that place 4th?

Outside of making the “Final Four” in basketball I guess.  How are they going to decide who gets the third trophy there though? (/sarcasm)

Supposedly in the 4 divisions (men's and women's) sports in the NCAA there 80 to 90 4th place team  trophies handed out as of right now.

Either way and for whatever reason, it stinks to lose a trophy.

This.  Like placing Top 4 wasn’t already difficult enough … especially in light of recent obstacles/challenges presented by the Transfer Portal & NIL.

This really stinks and just didn’t need to be done.

The primary rationale given was the cost of the trophy’s.

And millions of other dollars were wasted on this guy's education.  The trophy is what?  Or the trophy possesses what?

Hey, CP you knuckledragging mouthbreathing knob licking troglodyte, get yourself some lernin' on 'postrophes!!  Word, foo.
