So tell me then how much this is speeding up the process. It seems neither you nor science has any clue.

Its pretty much all from humans, if not 100%.

How is it a diversion.  If you can’t account for how the tax dollars could or could Not fix anything how can you justify the tax on just about everything these days.

Has nothing to fo with whether man has caused the warming.

Do you agree that the cause is anthropogenic?

Ummm we covered that yesterday.  Still can’t give us a timeline huh?   I’m going with the line you’ve used many times on here. If it doesn’t or hasn’t impacted me why should I care?  Again,  I’m all for warmer winters.   Like rv I only care about America and America will be fine.  We’ll adapt because we can.  Those south of the equator may have to relocate but that’s not our problem right RV?  We should just stay out of other countries problems is what you say regularly right?

I stand for truth and science. As long as u admit that humans have caused the warming, im good. Sounds like u are admitting it, or at least not willing to argue against it.

Yes, I already know that u only care about what affects you directly but thats your prerogative.

You obviously missed my sarcasm.  I was just doing what you do.

You ASSume a lot. I’ve never once said it wasn’t getting warmer or what was or wasn’t causing it.  You seem slow to realize that. If only science could tell us the true impact and cost of

A. Doing Nothing

B. Missing Net Zero by 2050

C. Making Net Zero by 2050

again I’m all for warmer winters here which seems worth experiencing a more severe thunderstorm every now and then  👅

Ahh...i see. You were trying to be funny.

I never once said we should put a lot of effort into combating global warming.

With no help from china and india, anything we do is not effective.

From The Google AI:

  • China: ~13.1 billion tons per year
  • United States: ~4.6 billion tons per year
  • India: ~3.1 billion tons per year
  • Russia: ~2.0 billion tons per year
  • Japan: ~970 million tons per year

Top 5 countries that produce CO2 generate 23.8 billion tons of CO2 per year.   A reduction of 4.6 is meaningless.   Yet, doing so would devastate the economy and put us back in the stone ages.   No CO2, means no computers, no construction, no mining for materials needed for AI chips etc.    And talk about plastics!!!   It would be a fundamental change in our way of life, that it would kill millions.   We are not ready to go zero CO2.   We have a lot of work to do but just with what we are doing, WA gas and diesel rates are $1 above the national average.   We were in TN last week and diesel was 4.99 and cheapest in WA is 6.09.   3.75 for gas and cheapest here is 5.25.   That is a real cost for fighting climate change.   That money is not going to reduce CO2 levels, WA has increased CO2 levels.  The money is not going to do anything to solve the CO2 issue.   But it is costing us a lot more in petrol, and food, and lumber, and everything that requires stuff to be delivered by truck.

Thats why I question our policies, even though the science is 110% settled.

Science is far from settled Since it can’t tell us when or how bad it will be.

Looking forward is completely different. No science in any field can predict the future 110% so using your logic science has never settled anything.

It is a concern. 110%. However, fixing it is not necessarily practicable without major worldwide cooperation. Even then, its difficult.

So you agree they should stop wastefully taxing us on something they don’t know will help nor something they can quantify in any way

I've never said I agreed w those programs. I always thought it had to be coordinated at international level, if at all.

Humans evolved from apes and before that prokaryotes. It's been proven beyond any reasonable doubt.

Formation happened at microscopic level 3.8b years ago under very different atmospheric conditions so thats ok. Gotta,be an idiot to just assume they were created though.

You can show evidence they were not created ?
