Hardy wins 11-0 via tech.  TD and two turns.  1M55S remaining in the second period.  Some Folkstyle top wrestling there for the last two turns.

You're describing a Marvel Superhero or the Six Million Dollar wrestler?

I mean... Flynn was like... maybe an inch or three taller?

I would like to see Trumble give a few Open tourneys a run this year, collegiately... just up at 285 (while trying to keep his weight to 225-230lbs).

Well... Hardy cut that Ukrainian down to size (Damn, he is tall.)

I thought he was going to be a 157lber for Nebraska.  I though the plan was him 157 and Robb 165 for a while there.

Yeah Hardy was a 152lber as a Junior in High School (Utah) in 2016-2017.

Edit: 4xer in Utah, went 132 - 145 - 152 - 145, then a two (2) year mission prior to 2021 'free' year at Nebraska and a 2022 redshirt... he will be out of U23 eligibility this year and have three more NCAAs after this tournament.  Wild.

The gent I am awarding the annual Mr. Negative Wrestling award to this year, in Japan's Masaki Sato, is up next on Mat B.

Trumble is up next on Mat C.

Trumble up 1-0 with a shot clock violation.

Gets a TD at the edge.  Up 3-0 with 30S to go in the first.

The Turk with a low single... stops once he gets the ankle... odd... waits there for time to run out.

Jap and Kazahk tied at 1-1 with shot clock points each.  Jap is legitimately just holding on to him and not doing anything.  This is frustrating.

Jap on the clock again.

Shoots off the whistle.  Kazahk defends well, despite it being SUPER deep.

Point Kazahk, up 2-1 with 30S to go.  All shot clock violations.
