Jamaal Bowman pulls a fire alarm to obstruct an official proceeding in Congress. He is a former school teacher and Principal. He was trying to block the Congress from voting. Obstructing congress is high crime  and misdemeanor. Then he lies that he thought he was a door opener button. So first responders had to race to the Capital building . ( Fire departments, EMT's, Police) The entire building had to be cleared . Then he lies and says he thought was a door opener button. You decide.

This is embarrassing for him, NGL.  Not sure what his motivation was.  It wasn't to prevent the legislation as he voted for it and it passed easily.  Maybe he was trying to delay so he could get there, maybe he was boneheaded.  Either way, if the right wants to execute him and it'll shut them up, I vote proceed.

Lets just execute him and get it over with. You know he had to vote " for " the legislation once he had pulled the fire alarm right. What is the chance a former high school principal and teacher did not what happens when you pull a fire alarm? Who really thinks he could accidently pull the fire alarm by mistake?

If you actually look at the sign on the door, you would realize it's easy to make that mistake, especially if you're in a hurry. This wasn't him pulling the fire alarm on the wall that we all think of. Of course, that doesn't get clicks, so the people who know better are going to ignore it for $$$.

Embarrassing yes, but an honest mistake almost certainly. That door is usually open and had a confusing sign on the door.

It was not the Capital building. It was the office building next door. It had no effect on the vote.

"He was trying to block the Congress from voting."

He and all the other democrats voted for the bill, genius.

It's no wonder our country is in the place it is. It's full of willful idiots like Paul who believe obvious lies because they like the way they make them feel.

Oh that changes the narrative irrespective of the side you are on.  No execution.  Time to move on, pop the corn and watch McCarthy squirm while the border policy he is responsible for remains the fault of AOC.

"Push until alarm sounds...Door will unlock in 30 seconds"

If you read this and still think he was trying to somehow delay a vote happening *in another building* you're an idiot who can't be helped.

Doesn’t “Emergency Exit Only” mean look for another door first, before activating the alarm on this one, if it’s not an emergency?  Is anyone else confused by this?

If you're in a hurry to get somewhere you're supposed to be, you don't always make the right split decision. I could see myself in a hurry glance at the sign, see "push button....door will open" and push it without thinking. Plus, once he realized his mistake he ran to the next door and made the vote.

But if you think this was some master plan to stop a vote (that he supported lol), I don't know how to help you. Embarrassing for sure, but a simple mistake.

We are talking about an ex high school principal and also was a teacher.  We are talking about an educated man with a college degree. You are telling me that pulling a fire alarm handle is confusing. Please explain. I think most 1st,2nd and 3 rd graders know not to pull the fire alarm unless there is a fire.

I believe most of knew at a very young age to not pull down the switch on a fire alarm unless there was a fire.

You are woefully misinformed. Again.

A lot there, my apologies.

Are you absolving AOC of fault?  Matt Gaetz is just kidding around?  Congress doesn't make laws?  Alarm in one building triggers evacuation in another?  Where am I misinformed?

So, that makes two.  Anyone else confused?

What do you think he was trying to accomplish?

1) He supported the bill he was rushing to vote for

2) It wasn't in the same building as the vote. Nobody had to leave the capital building and the vote went through as expected (Bowman voted for it).

3) That door is supposed to be open at that time and wasn't. He got confused in a hurry.

So answer this honestly: Why would Jamaal Bowman pull the fire alarm to delay a vote in a separate building when he was on his way to vote yes? What do you think this conspiracy accomplished?

One of the best marks of an idiot is going all in on a conspiracy theory that has no logical purpose. Never taking a second to ask themselves why?

Does it make sense that a man made an honest mistake when he ran into a door that was supposed to be open? Or that he was trying to delay a vote he supported in a different building because....well....well, why on earth would he do that? Give me one reason why? The "why" is the essential part of the conspiracy theory.
