It's not the best competition so far this season, but I appreciate that Warner as a senior isn't just sitting around like he has throughout his career. Hopefully a sign that he's fully bought in for his senior year. Again, I understand it's not the highest level of competition so far, but if you've watched Warner at Iowa extensively, you're seeing a difference. Hopeful it transfers to the better opponents!

Didn't Glazier just step in for him last night?

Ah nvm. You meant metaphorically sitting around, not actually.

Good take.

So is it true Tom loaded up the rocketship in search of competition in other galaxies but landed in Albany to wrestle Sacred Heart & Buffalo?  🙄

Hopefully he doesn’t feel the need to start trashing talking the cadets at West Point again after beating an unranked either

I wondered what Warner was jawing about after the match.  Warner has always been a very respectful person, so it was surely just some sort of return fire toward a few rowdy cadets.  He certainly is wrestling in a much more offensive manner than we have seen in previous seasons.  Will it be on display against ISU where he runs into a guy who can counter shoot with the best?

I didn't see it, but if it was Warner, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess it was a response, not an initiation. Warner has never been that guy. Of the guys currently on the roster, the only guys I think are likely trash talkers on the team are Kennedy and maybe Murin.

Also, the cadets (if that is who he was talking to) were acting just like regular college kids on the side of the mat. No special treatment needed, nor would I imagine they want it.
