The easy answer seems to be Ramos pinning Lee, but I think after more thought it's actually Vito dominating RBY.

Ramos' win was somewhat flukey, whereas Vito was totally in control the entire match.

As the Great DelFino once reminded us, pins are flukes and cannot be counted as true upsets.

Vito dominating RBY is my choice. RBY gave it his all and Vito was simply quicker and more skillful.

As fir Mr. Lee - Grazie e arrivederci!

Vito was not a huge surprise.  Admittedly this was five years ago, but beating RBY with his quickness was nothing new.

RBY looked off all weekend. Sick, injured, bad cut(s), or something else.

I wonder if he’ll actually go to the US Open in April.

thanks lu alum- I wasnt aware of their history but I'm still going with Vito's victory as the most significant upset last evening. Enjoy the day!

I had Vito winning from start not that huge upset. Alternate olympics against Gillman. I thought he raised level year he took off make olymmpics.

As to answer the topic's question...

Вито победил в конкурсе расстроенных людей.
(Vito pobedil v konkurse rasstroyennykh lyudey.)

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Ramos pinning Lee was the bigger news by far. Friends who don't know anything at all about wrestling were commenting and reposting the vid on socials. We walked by a restaurant and saw it on a TV news channel, I think it was either CNN or Fox News. The Ramos match would be an even bigger deal if he wrestled his usual gutsy style and gave Glory a match in the finals.

Vito beating RBY and Fix weren't exactly upsets IMO but is the bigger news for those who follow wrestling.

Я не согласен, я думаю, что Ли был большим расстройством

Я дам вам это. Поражение Ли действительно подняло крышу в BOK... но, по моему скромному мнению, победа Вито в финале над RBY перевешивает для меня чашу весов.
