He was chirping at the RTC coaches at Beat the Streets after he wrestled Chamizo for coaching and financing non-Americans.  Prob didn't use the word "traitor" but that is also part of what makes it a "hot take."

So he didn't actually call anybody a traitor, despite you claiming that he did, initially.

Thank you for clarifying that you lied.

You're a great poster and a seemingly good guy; it literally is a "hot take."

It isn't a hot take.

Too much hate-speak going in with the subject in many threads here.

We should be gearing up for Trent and not smearing 'Traitors' on here.

True double elim would be great, but some weights could see guys theoretically wrestle as many as 11 matches and would take longer than NCAAs

I like when they used to bring you back if your opponent made the semis.

Actually you are the liar; I never quoted Burroughs.  I said he would agree.

I concede you didn't say he said it.

You said he thought it:

This is a rematch of last year's finals where he sort of got teched by somehow didn't because of match continuation.

Same guy, right?

So you get your panties in a bunch when Seabass, Cruz, Amine, Gomez and World Champ Micic wrestle elsewhere or are you just hating on PSU guys that do it.  We can always count on you for whining about something.  It's like having Ban Basketball back.

LOL so funny... no I don't like when we train wrestlers to beat Americans.  I almost always root for them against other countries.  I actually coached a guy who wrestled for another country this weekend.  I certainly rooted for him.

People like Pyles are confusing why the US is doing so well. It has more to do with the fact that the US has legions of kids starting at wrestling from very young ages in well run clubs and are doing it consistently ( thank you HS and College seasons). That combined with the economic situation changing to where the US no longer treats International wrestling like an extracurricular detour after finishing college.

Saying it's because of Folkstyle, well it is but not in the way Pyles means it. Why did the US have a bad time in the Askren era if folk gives the US the advantage.

Rules of MFS in Askren's era were quite a bit different than now.

The US is doing well in leg grabbing because several groups of people outside of USAW created avenues for our athletes to continue wrestling and not starve to do it...

that is it, period...

Not disagreeing with you, but TDs being worth 1 was a massive difference. I don't think he's right, but THAT would argue for his point.
