Can you provide a link that the person was actually “heckling” AKA yelling things, and not just standing up?

This video looks like it starts after the confrontation, it doesn’t show her yelling before the confrontation started.

Even the tweeter wrote::

During a Donald Trump rally in Youngstown, Ohio, on October 12, a protester stood up wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” T-shirt and was immediately confronted by attendees.

It’s a travesty that she was the only one taken out of the crowd by the police.  No hyperbole, this is fascism.   So thanks for providing evidence of that I guess.

So I ask again @jross, please provide evidence she was actually heckling and yelling and not just standing up before she was assaulted.  Or admit you lied.

Please cite the source that says it was because of a tshirt in the article.  I have yet to find one.

Beyond the video showing the hecker yelling directly out rather than those that shut her up, the articles say she was heckling.  Will admit the videos are not as clear as one would want but you can see she is yelling outward early.  https://www.tmz.com/2026/10/13/trump-protester-called-fat-and-beaten-up-at-rally/

How did the camera know to zoom in if she isn't being mouthy?  How does the guy in front of her know to turn around?  Let us give this a day or so and see if any in the crowd have more footage.

Sounds like more examples to add to your OP of media spin by reporting things without actual evidence.

In the photo the confrontation has clearly already started.  Certainly possible she just stood up then someone yelled at her to sit down or something and that’s when the ruckus started.  Sure, I’ll acknowledge it was wrong to say that she was assaulted because of the shirt, as we don’t know that for sure.  But I haven’t seen any actual evidence that it was because she was “heckling” as opposed to just standing up.

Yes she (Blake) heckled.

One more... https://thepunchup.substack.com/p/woman-fat-shamed-by-trump-snaps-back

Leigh Kimmins says "Blake, who did not want her surname or hometown to be published out of fear of further attacks, has now spoken to PunchUp about the ordeal that left her in the hospital…"

Quote

“I unbuttoned my flannel, stood up, and I yelled ‘Fascist!’ as loud as I could, yelled it again, and then I felt the first punch and fell back into the seats. I tried to swing back and felt someone grab my hair and hold my arm down. I felt another two punches, one on the right of my face and the other on the top left temple.” - Blake <Unknown surname>

Now the question @1032004 is what specific thing made you conclude the attack was over the shirt itself rather than her standing up and yelling? Was it a particular video, a news report, or something else?

First of all I must commend your research skills.  I had searched for similar with no luck.  But I do see that some more known outlets published follow-ups with her yesterday and she does confirm she yelled “fascist” (ironically, the end result with her being the only one removed proved her correct, and that is not hyperbole - probably the first real example of fascism from Trump that I recall TBH).

I would say it was the video of the event that made me believe it was because of the shirt initially, considering there is no audio audible of what she actually said (unlike videos of right wing hecklers for example who can usually be heard on the video, even though I don’t recall any right wing trolls being assaulted at Democratic rallies simply for yelling).

So yeah, it wasn’t “because of the shirt,” it was because she was yelling, which of course isn’t much better.  That is an absolutely bonkers and insane story, that a woman was assaulted, on video, simply for yelling, yet she was the only one removed, with our President cheering the assault and mocking her.  Yeah, I think I officially regret voting for him.  Conservative outlets focusing on “bUt iT wAsN’t BeCaUsE oF tHe ShIrT” is another example of media spin, because the real story is an unjustified assault egged on by our President where the only person taken out by the police was the victim.

Here is how I went about spotting the spin.

ACTION:
I read a post from 1032004 that said "...if you wear a shirt saying to release the Epstein files you will be physically assaulted" and another that said "...Trump’s rally in Youngstown Ohio for physically assaulting someone for wearing a shirt saying Release the Epstein files."

THINK:
How odd. This seems like fake news. I’ve never seen someone assaulted over a t-shirt, so that cause is unlikely. Trump already released the files (though heavily redacted), which makes the shirt’s intent a bit strange. How does wearing an Epstein shirt result in someone being assaulted? What’s the actual context?

ACTION:
I reviewed multiple mainstream article headlines that referred to a woman in a shirt being assaulted. None said the attack was because of the shirt. They noted she was wearing it. After reading the articles, the majority reported that she was heckling or interrupting Trump. Some mentioned the heckling in the title. I found only one article whose title directly implied the attack was because of the shirt (https://www.mogazmasr.com/150440). That source has low traffic, and 1032004 almost certainly didn’t read it.

THINK:
Why does 1032004 believe the assault was over the shirt?

  • Most likely due to causal framing through selective omission and priming (media spin). It’s easy not to notice when you’re being influenced that way.
  • People like Doublehalf act as if Dems hold the moral high ground on demanding the files’ release under Trump, while having shown less urgency before.
    • Never mind that neither party fully released the Epstein files under Biden.
    • Never mind that Trump signed a bipartisan law requiring their release... even though much remains redacted and many people are still disappointed.
  • 1032004 frequently frames events from a left angle, so he may be thinking along the same lines as Doublehalf on the Epstein files.
  • 1032004 may also assume Trump rally goers are the type of people who would attack someone over a t-shirt.

ACTION:
I posted this as an example of media spin and was challenged on it. I watched the available videos in slow motion and confirmed the person was yelling at the stage and was assaulted almost immediately afterward.

THINK:
Why does 1032004 still not accept the evidence and practical logic? Most likely because it conflicts with the first view he formed, and he rarely revises his positions.

ACTION:
Found Blake's actions in her own words clearly stating she was yelling.  Asked 1032004 what their thought process was leading to the false belief.

THINK:
Why would 1032004 respond with spin/lies?

  1. Trump does mock but he doesn't cheer the assault.
  2. It wasn't just because of "yelling."  It was yelling fascist repeatedly to interrupt while Trump was speaking to supporters.
  3. This was not a display of fascism.
  4. This hitting the woman on the head with a pole looks like assault at a Democrat rally.    https://x.com/akela_lacy/status/1825746033416028355

Stop lying please.  There is no video of her yelling before she is assaulted.

Lol you’re really splitting hairs to say Trump’s comments weren’t cheering the assault.

It 100% was a fascist action for the police to only remove the victim who was being assaulted, and not the perpetrators.

She said she stood up and yelled fascist then repeated it loudly over again then felt a punch. Her own words are evidence, no? Can I sit behind you in the theater?

This wasn’t widely reported until yesterday.  Before then it looks like it was only mentioned in “PunchUp” which I had never heard of before.

You would punch someone for yelling in a theater?

Actually I would check out your reaction, when I shouted over and over eliminating your ability to listen.

I suspect many people think... "someone needs to shut this person up right now, and I can do it faster than staff" and it is their life experience that teaches them that would create a bigger problem.

Absurdly short-sighted take on crisis management.  ... calling it fascism.

Why was she the only person the police took out of there?   She was assaulted and the assaulters pointed her out to the police and went after her and only her. Apparently the assaulters were even bragging about it after the fact.  Disgusting.

Making excuses for criminal assault, nice.
