I’m not really an advocate for injecting money that directly causes inflation. Social safety nets sure, not direct cash handouts. We saw how that drove inflation up last time everyone was given extra cash

Everyone getting $5,000 would become pretty material and would cause inflation to sky rocket. This is such a disastrous plan that even conservatives are bucking this hard

The $5000 will cost $1.3 Trillion.   No way this happens.   Even 500 would be $130 Billion, which is still a lot.   I think this is not in the best interest of the country.   $5000 sounds pretty good, but who pays for that?   Just adds to the deficit and debt.   

Better idea is to end this with Iran sooner rather than later and lower petrol prices around the country.

Well there is no plan to leave Iran in the near future with Hegseth at the lead and trump has already said gas won’t come down until after mid terms. He’s gotta try to hook in voters somehow I guess

I think Trump wants to just bleed them dry, now that Iran has no shipping, no income, no gasoline (the use more than they make currently) and sky high inflation.   It may go on for months, but this does not cost as much as shooting missiles.  Just waiting for them to bleed to death (figuratively speaking) and that might be a little bit.   But I think it will happen.   But I wish it would end sooner rather than later.
