I think Trump wants to just bleed them dry, now that Iran has no shipping, no income, no gasoline (the use more than they make currently) and sky high inflation.   It may go on for months, but this does not cost as much as shooting missiles.  Just waiting for them to bleed to death (figuratively speaking) and that might be a little bit.   But I think it will happen.   But I wish it would end sooner rather than later.

He wants to bleed them dry while at the same tim bleeding the us tax payer dry. This war has cost $42 billion so far, depleted vast amounts of ammunition, us citizens are getting bled dry with energy costs and grocery costs due to higher energy. If this keeps up the gop is gonna bleed dry at mid terms. Just wish the president who promised lower costs and no new wars stayed true to his word

China wants this to go on as long as possible.

It may be "bleeding" iran dry but also bleeding the u s  taxpayers.

This is great for iran and china and they'll continue to help iran. Either way, we lose and they win

I don't disagree.   I have said I want it ended sooner than later.   Keep on arguing that.

Gas is still cheaper than Bidenflation gas

Biden derangement syndrome😂 average gas prices September 2024: $3.22. Average gas prices September 2026 $4.15 a gallon. You can bring up Biden all you want but we have higher prices now than we do before he was elected. If that’s cool with you that’s fine, but the guy has broken many campaign promises and you still need to bring up Biden whenever someone brings up valid objective criticism of this admin

I don’t think that gonna matter to many voters in November when they keep seeing high prices under trump

Diesel isn’t, which has a direct impact on almost everything we buy

Math is math.   Gas is cheaper and it’s the biggest whine in the left today.    Biden peaked over $5 boss

You think only the left is complaining about gas prices? This is going to be fun to look back on after midterms

Y’all are catastrophically talking about Trump bleeding Americans dry like the sky is falling.   On average per day Americans spent more $ on gas under Biden than under Trump 2 and a shit ton more if you count trumps both terms

military spending adjusted for inflation Trump spent less than Obama bush and Biden.   It’s pretty close.  Pretty much a wash.

I’ve never see a conservative argue that high prices are good just because prices were slightly higher under dems before you lol. The party of fiscal responsibility and fiscal conservatism is long gone. There are plenty of people on the right nd left whose  pockets are hurting due to this admins policies

Who is arguing it’s good.   It’s better than with yall in office.  That is all the argument is.

all politicians and politics are trash

less people’s pockets are hurting under this admin than if yall were in power and when you were in power

And that’s a big reason why Kamala isn’t President today, even though the biggest reason for that was Russia invading Ukraine.

This time it’s also due to a war, but one we chose to start.

I believe it’s been shown that people spent a larger portion of their wages on gas under Coolidge than they do now.  During WWII gasoline, sugar, tires, nylons, etc, were high priced and ratiioned.

That’s funny , all politician are trash yet you defend and don’t say anything negative  about this admin while bringing up Biden. It’s ok, daddy trump will still love you even if you think he has reneged on promises

People’s pockets hurting now is going to have the same effect come election time  as it did with 2022 and 2024, flip of control, they aren’t going to vote for the party that said we will lower prices while still having high prices

Conservatives are better at running the country.

daddy Trump doesn’t care about anyone he’s a politician.   Neither does Biden.  But conservatives are better for American than the other team

go back and look.  I fought  with the crazy Iran person who got banned about not going to war with Iran for weeks.   I didn’t wanna go there either.

The ones that shut down the government several times and for the longest time with majorities in both chambers and holding the executive position?

The ones that promised to cut the deficit but increased it again?

The ones who promised no new wars? yet here we are...

The ones who promised lower prices while diesel is at an all time high with every other cost going up?

The ones who can't even pass their leaders most prioritized legislation?

lol

All politicians promise shit they don’t deliver on. It’s politics.

i remember when Guantanamo bay was closing.   And you could keep your health care plan if you like.  And I’m gonna make life better for the blacks

yawn

all politicians are liars.   And are trash.  And they don’t care.

Definitely one of the most interesting points from last night night:

I'm sure a stroked out fetterman who votes with the democratic party 87% percent of the time is really going to turn the tide of midterms for the gop

so is it all politicians are trash and lie and don't deliver on promises or is it the gop better at running the country?

Unfortunately it can be both at the same time.   Which happens to be true.

Here was a fun game.   I typed this all up from scratch.  No way did I use the Google machine.   Politicians rank higher on the sleeze k meter rating than Ponzi scheme predators lol

This ranking strips away all physical grime (like dirt or grease) and measures "dirty" strictly through the lens of psychological sleaze, manipulation, and deceit.
To score each job, three distinct behaviors were evaluated:
  1. Systemic Deception: How much the job requires lying, spinning, or hiding the truth to be successful.
  2. Exploitation: How aggressively the profession weaponizes trust, fear, or vulnerability for personal gain.
  3. Transactional Loyalty: How easily the profession sells out basic human ethics, convictions, or people to the highest bidder.

The actual rankings:

  • Politician (99/100): Weaponizes public hope and systematically lies to millions of people simultaneously to secure votes. They routinely run on promises they have no intention of keeping and shift their morals based entirely on internal polling and corporate campaign donations.
  • Scam Call Center Operator (98/100): Operates on pure, malicious fraud. Workers assume false identities (like IRS agents or tech support) to systematically terrify vulnerable populations and senior citizens into draining their bank accounts.
  • Ponzi Scheme / Predatory Crypto Founder (97/100): Uses financial gaslighting and fake hype to trick retail investors into buying worthless assets or fraudulent funds. They rely on complex jargon to conceal the fact that they are stealing early investor money before completely vanishing.
  • Crisis PR Specialist (95/100): Paid millions to rewrite reality and shield corrupt corporations or elites from accountability. They specialize in the "non-apology," burying bad press, distorting facts, and intimidating whistleblowers.
  • Corporate Lobbyist (94/100): Uses high-end manipulation and dark corporate cash to pull strings behind the scenes. They are responsible for writing complex loopholes directly into laws and intentionally distorting data to keep toxic or dangerous products profitable.
  • Predatory Payday Lender (87/100): Targets low-income families trapped in financial emergencies. They hide astronomical interest rates and vicious cycles of debt behind friendly, community-focused marketing campaigns.
  • Tabloid / Paparazzi Journalist (85/100): Invades human privacy and exploits personal tragedies for profit. Their business model relies on twisting truths, printing unverified rumors, and paying for dirt.
  • Multilevel Marketing (MLM) Recruiter (82/100): Weaponizes personal relationships and fake friendship to exploit others. They sell an artificial dream of financial freedom, knowing that over 95% of the people they recruit will lose money.
  • Sleazy Used Car Dealer (77/100): The classic stereotype of everyday deceit. They knowingly conceal mechanical flaws, roll back digital parameters, and pack financing contracts with hidden fees just to move inventory off the lot.
  • Fake "Guru" Televangelist (77/100): Exploits spiritual faith and desperate people for personal wealth. They promise divine miracles, health, or salvation in exchange for "seed money" donations, using the funds to bankroll private jets and mansions.
