The Iranian just needs to fend off Ross... he got all his points that he needs.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

TD at the end but he let that leglace get away from him... It's the Iranian w/ the gold

TJ was Ross' coach since he was a young kid...

TJ is not known for embracing a cautious style of wrestling...

all those years and he could never get a higher output rate out of him...

If DT can get that pace up even a little it might cement him as the greatest coach of all time...

so frustrating to watch...

It's certainly the assumption. He slots in after Feldman, and Waters/Rogotzke cover 197 next year.

Boyle was a freshman state champ at 165, and has been at 215 since. He was the MVP of the state championship game in football last year. Im so excited for him to be widely discovered in wrestling, I assume that his football career has had something to do with him not being a full timer on the national scene, but his potential is outrageous. He comes out of a youth program with heavy involvement from Tommy Rowlands and Ross Thatcher. Once you get him away from football, it looks like the sky will be the limit.

Just wanted to say congrats to you guys absolute dominance from start to finish in freestyle. I had a feeling this would end up happening as I had been reading up on your wrestlers prior to the tournament. Basset and Seidel are super talented guys who I think will be senior level threats very soon. Insane how much depth you guys have across the ten weights, very jealous.

Damn...I'm not convinced Boyle couldn't beat Feldman right now. Am I crazy? Boyle is a serious contender for #1 overall in his class...

Nah, yea he bullied these “kids” with brute strength and some technique but watching multiple matches there’s still quite an heir of rawness there. Feldman is FAR more athletic polished. We’ll see how/if he puts on weight and go from there…

Thanks! You probably know Bassett has an upcoming wrestle-off with last year's senior bronze, Woods. Most people think he'll win that and be our guy in October, so we'll find out soon enough about him. There's a possibility Seidel never gets a chance at the senior level. The 2 or 3 guys beating him for that spot are his same age.
