That's not the way records work.  When you break a record, at that point, you have broken the record.

Numerous government sponsor freestyle programs at age-group levels and the senior level. (Folkstyle is subsidized by a single government at age-group levels.) Freestyle has world championships. (Folkstyle has an college-level national tournament.) Freestyle has the Olympics. (Folkstyle does not.)

But again, you are allowed to like whatever it is you want to like.

I wish everyone hated my team that much.

I've been really happy tonight that lots of people are starting to hate them.  The funniest thing is that there are dozens of comments in this thread of mostly PSU fans hating on OSU wrestlers.  Imagine being so miserable that while you are breaking records you are whining about 2nd place instead of celebrating 1st.  I saw a quote once where the head of Coke said "Coke doesn't talk about Pepsi".  He understood what it meant to be #1.  I'm going to try my best to remember it in the coming years.

You dont even know what you are talking about. There are two american folkstyle based leagues. CLAW and CWA.
